Our first time there. Everything about it was excellent. Menu was imaginative, creative and balanced. Appreciated sommelier discussing at length the wine pairings. Great to find a restaurant with women in all of the leadership positions.
Calling the sound level "energetic" is a euphemistic dodge...the noise level at our table made conversation quite difficult. That restaurants (with, it seems your complicity) call conversation-killing noise levels "energetic" is hard to understand. It makes one less willing to dine out at all. That said, our restaurant-week meal was well-prepared, and the service was fine. The portions were small but adequate, and the amuse-bouche was a splendid beginning....
Centrolina could always be relied upon for a really good meal; however, their RW fare was wanting. Kingfish main course particularly disappointing. Polpo OK bu chewy and t not great. Overall a disappointing performance for such a good restaurant.
