Be careful, all the prices raised by 10$, with respect to the menue we see on google!
My friend and I attended an elevated happy hour experience. Ordered the pizza and meatball sliders. The food was okay. The vibes of the venue are the selling point. The bartender was really great.

Ordered New York Strip (medium rare) with Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. Steak was overcooked (medium well) and asparagus was under cooked. Even though staff were in the vicinity no one asked if the food was ok until our party was almost finished. You would think a pricey restaurant would do better.

I ate breakfast every day at this hotel restaurant during a week long day. It’s convenient, the food is delicious, although sometimes when they are very busy, service can be just a bit slow. Overall, I was happy with the consistency and flavor of the food, and Bony was always quick to seat me and serve me.

Great food, excellent service. Delicious breakfast. A little pricey, but well worth it.

I decided to try this place located at my hotel. I love eggs Benedict, so I ordered them here as well. To my disappointment, the muffin was soggy, the eggs were just okay, the potatoes were barely warm and seemed like they hadn’t been freshly cooked, and the hollandaise sauce was cold and salty. The service was good, though. I’m sure I’ll find a better place to eat.

We came during the happy hour - the restaurant was quite empty. The drinks were okay and the vibe was nice. Just hope maybe a bigger discount for happy hour.

Mixed impressions. This is our third stay at The Royal Sonesta. On this one, we spent a week and dined daily at the on-site restaurant. The space is impeccably clean with a well-thought-out floor layout. Breakfast each morning was a pleasure, thanks to the outstanding service of Tommy, whose hospitality and attention to detail elevated our experience.
We also visited on Wednesday night for dessert and lattes, and the young waitress on duty that evening delivered equally exceptional service—attentive, warm, and professional.
However, our experience on the final night was disappointing. We returned for a similar late-night treat—just a couple of lattes and desserts, possibly a cocktail with an appetizer—but our server, Mounir, appeared displeased with our order. He laughed dismissively and treated us with noticeable rudeness, which tainted the otherwise consistent hospitality we had come to appreciate during our stay.

Food choices were very few, not many choices at all. Extremely expensive for the food choices. Meals did not match the price. Drinks you had to pay $4 per can, additional.. Ending up paying $438 for 11 people and most of them shared pizzas, lol.
Then I tried breakfast this morning, they sell breakfast meals with eggs, but had the nerve to charge additional .50 per the egg that already comes with the meal. When you stay in such an expensive hotel, you expect quality and convenience …
If hotels want to keep business in house they should always consider keeping the cost of their food at a descent rate so consumers don’t go outside.. just my opinion..

Had dinner with a large group while in DC and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great, and the drinks hit the spot. I highly recommend the mozzarella balls appetizer—it was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken fettuccine, and it was top-notch. I’d definitely come back!

We just wandered it and was glad we did. What we ordered was very good (brushcetta assortment and pizza), as were the drinks, prices are what you'd expect and maybe a little lower. Friendly service, and would certainly choose it again if Italian was what we wanted.

Tried to eat here 3x to find something that justified the positive reviews. Drinks and food are incredibly overpriced, food is over salted, pastas appear premade and heated upon order, even the most expensive dish, the braised short rib, seemed heated up rather than cooked to order. Some servers are incredibly kind, others can’t be bothered.

This is hands down the best place to eat in DC. The pizza? Phenomenal. Calamari? Outstanding. Atmosphere is super relaxed and the service is top notch. Will absolutely be coming back anytime we're in town.

Cannot rate food … beautiful decor, prompt service … but prices seen on the actual menu are about double those shown anywhere else. We were prepared to pay more for a nice hotel restaurant, but $27-29 for a PIZZA? Please.
