This restaurant has truly become a staple in our pandemic life and is a tasty treat for those looking for a belly full is sushi on a budget. Amazing combinations and creative sides and sauces makes for a delish spot. In addition the staff are friendly and chipper when ever we stop by to order.

I ordered delivery, online. I was charged a delivery fee. I received a call, asking if I were leavening a tip. When my food was delivered, I was harassed again, for a tip. What was the delivery fee for. Also, I was in walking distance as the guy delivered my food by foot. The fried rice, is horrible. It was old, and cooked with liitle to no effort. The hot shredded beef was greasy and little to no flavor. This place was very disappointing. But, I'm sure the majority of their business comes from tourist. I wouldn't eat here again.

We randomly selected Chalin’s after a long day of sightseeing! Luckily we saw they were “opened” and were happily greeted when we walked in!! The mixed wonton egg drop soup (which was not on menu but they granted our wish) was the best soup I’ve had in years!! And the pork pan fried noodles and Triple Delicacy were equally fresh and amazing!! I highly recommend Chalin’s for take out or eat in!!! They will even set up tables outside if you request!! You will not be disappointed... take it from an expert on Chinese Cuisine!! Suzanne Old Bridge, NJ

Ordered chicken and beef lo mein with white and fried rice. The rice was hard, the lo mein had NO MEAT in it, and the taste was bland. Wasn't too happy to spend $34 just to throw away food. ONLY gave a star because I had to

Your basic run of the mill Chinese place. I would prefer not to dine here a second time.

We had dinner here with a friend. Typical Chinese restaurant. Good food and efficient service. Great place for a quick, no frills dinner.

The asparagus chicken is so yummy. The veggie spring roll was not hot and the cabbage could have been cooked a little longer and cut up some more. Thank you!

Nothing on this planet can be made worse than this. The food are tasteless and salty as the Pacific Ocean. Everything was microwaved.

Was there on a Thursday night around 6:30Pm and the restaurant was fairly empty. Service was quick, maybe a bit too quick. But we were not rushed by the server to leave the table at meal's end. Food portions were more than .dequate. Taste of entrees was fine. Price was very reasonable. The setting is peaceful and pretty.

Was visiting Washington DC when I stopped by this place with friends for dinner. The environment is very nice and clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is pretty good. I come from Flushing which is the home of good Chinese food on the east coast and this place easily rivals the popular restaurants in Flushing. Personally I absolutely loved the chilled spicy chicken appetizer and asparagus with scallops main dish but that's because it was coincidentally cooked perfectly to my tastes.

With Chalin’s, what you see is what you get. Very average food, with very average service, at very average prices. I found the “crispy” outside of the chicken to be closer to soggy. The sauce was syrupy and despite being listed as spicy, was much more sweet than heat. All in all - nothing worth writing home about.
