This place is overcharging customers. Automatically putting an 18% service fee AND an alcohol AND a tobacco tax on the bill? BUYER BEWARE. We Will not be returning as I can go to other establishments that are not doing this type of price gauging.

Before u buy anything ask them to confirm their menu
Place is great but after you order they change prices
Example wings are $14 but they charged us $20 because we were 2 menu just writes $14
Hookah mixed fruit is $30 menu rights if it’s $40 it will say next to name but it doesn’t they charged us $51 saying in their system it’s $40 not $51
So again go with caution because you will get cheated so ask 10000x before ordering what does the system say not what does the menu say

The service is not the best. They seriously need to hire more servers for the weekend. They are overwhelmed. About 5 servers who are also the bar tender and hookah person. Com on. But the vibes is nice since the upgrade

The worst customer service I have ever seen. The place has to have a decent server who understands customer service. I ordered a food making clear what I want but the food came not as I requested. When I told the waiter that I requested Ethiopian enjera, she denied it even though my friend heard what I ordered. I was willing to eat what was brought, but the server’s attitude made me so mad that I returned the food and left the place immediately even left my friends. My friends later told me that they had also the worst experience. That place really needs to be supervised. There was no soap in the bathroom and when requested, soap diluted with water was replaced. What a cheap!
Will never go back to that place . It’s nice looking place with the worst service.

My friends and I recently visited this bar, and it turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience. While the interior design and lighting are commendable for such a small hookah bar, the service is where everything falls apart.
The waitstaff's attitude and hubris is appalling and significantly detracts from the overall experience.
Initially, as an African American, I thought their beyond ugly attitude was directed towards our group. However, it became clear that their rude behavior extends even to their own Ethiopian customers, making the situation even more baffling.
Since they get 18-20% service charge added to your bills as a tip anyway, no one bothers to check if you need anything and requesting something as simple as charcoal for your hookah feels like begging. The servers congregate in one area, mocking customers condescendingly, which is incredibly frustrating and makes you question why you chose to visit in the first place.

Looks like the owner got these third world midgets from some cheap hood bar for penny.
I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. Save yourself the frustration and seek out a place that values and respects its patrons.

The level of racism here is appalling—they refuse to play Amharic music, especially after April 2024 and DJ VV's departure to Ethiopia. Despite our repeated requests, the biased DJ denies us the music we want to hear. Although I once cherished this place, the new DJ's prejudice has soured my experience. This is my genuine opinion, and I'm truly disappointed by the direction it's taken. This incident occurred on the eve of Easter. I firmly believe that if China, the sole bartender, had been present, she wouldn't have allowed this discrimination.
