Brunch menu on their website hadn’t been updated, it’s now 75 minutes for bottomless brunch but the website says 90. They also wouldn’t give our table more than 1 brunch menu, but then the food on their website menu is wrong so you can’t even reliably reference that. Food was great, but you should order the bulk up front rather than trying to do multiple rounds because things can take up to 30 minutes to come out.

Pretty good food, terrible service and congested seating. The hostess was very surly and clearly annoyed to be there. The tables were lined up with barely space to get through between. The service staff was friendly but very slow. And never knew what table ordered what. They just took the dishes down the row asking who ordered it. It took so long several dishes were cold. The food was good, if it ever made it to you.

Food was good. Server was incredibly slow, if not absent for most of the Dim Sum hours. They had difficulties in understanding what was 86'd and what wasn't. Had to ask several times for tea and beverages. The food is also way overpriced; 9 people (three of which were under 9 y/o) cost nearly $500. Not worth it.

Kid-friendliness: They charged the same price for children and adults for the all you can eat dim sum

I was disappointed overall. I went for Sunday Brunch and wasn't impressed with the service and overall offerings. Most of my time was spent waiting for the server to tend to our needs, and hot dishes were delivered to us cold. I was saddened, as I was really looking forward to this experience. I was served the wrong dish that contained shellfish. Thank goodness I was allergic; I'm not a fan—certainly not a detail to be missed.

Poor attention to detail and lackluster service. I hope it was just the day, but at this point, I would not recommend it.

Dietary restrictions: Make sure you get the correct dishes, especially if you have allergies.

Went for all-you-can-eat dimsum brunch. A couple of standout dishes (scallion bubble pancake & charcoal lava custard buns) but otherwise just ok. Service was friendly but had to ask for condiments multiple times & ended up with only red chili oil. Maybe lunch/dinner menu is better but wouldn't go again for dimsum since seems to cater to more Western tastes.

Parking: Street parking if you're lucky, a lot of nearby garages seemed closed on weekends. Metro accessible.

I’m an American Born Chinese that grew up eating Chinese food, and the food was delicious! But never, in my wildest dreams would I have imagined getting served xiao long bao (soup dumplings) without a soup spoon, or any spoon for that matter. When I asked for spoons the server looked at me like I had a dick on my forehead. Service was trash too.

My girlfriend and I were very excited for the AYCE dim sum brunch. We had waited almost a month for a reservation. However, I found a chunk of cartilage/bone in the siu mai that felt none too pleasant on my teeth. Also, our server took 3 table orders of diners who were sat after us, having us wait 15 minutes after seating until placing our orders. She then notified us that this time would count against our 75 minute maximum for din sum. We were disappointed to say the least.

The atmosphere and waiters were wonderful! It’s beautiful inside but they did play the most insane playlist of music which ranged from Jar of Hearts, some Whitney Houston songs, some other 2010 bangers, and then back to the 80s again. The wide variety clashed with the elegant atmosphere I assumed they were going for with decor. We could not stop laughing with each love ballad followed by an 80s pop anthem.
The bubble pancake was delicious albeit greasy, a common thread among all our dishes. It seemed like each dish had more oil and grease than the last. The ingredients were fresh though! Moreover, our tea and cocktails were fabulous! We thought this is a great place for group cocktails and maybe a small plate, but the overall menu lacked depth. The food was nothing extraordinary and again, some dishes just tasted like mouthfuls of oil.
I do wish the menu was more clear about which dishes are vegetarian vs vegan. The first waiter didn’t exactly understand what I was asking and just said which dishes were vegan, not whether the dish I was asking about was vegetarian. Normally I do not assume any dish is vegetarian unless specified because there are often hidden ingredients such as lard or fish sauce. The manager did explain that several of the dishes were vegetarian but they were not labeled as such.

This review is regarding my experience placing a $9000+ catering order for a Lunar New Year event that I hosted. I worked with Jen Lin-Liu, Director of Events at Chang Chang, and the experience was horrible.

Overall, we were disappointed with the hot food. The Mushroom Spring Rolls were soft and soggy. The Kung Pao Chicken was mediocre, and we did not receive the peanuts on the side as requested. The Mongolian Beef contained a lot of filler (onions and peppers) and not enough beef.

The desserts did not meet expectations. While the Chocolate Miso Tarts were very tasty, the size of each tart was very small. The Hojicha Cake pieces were also very small, and they were falling apart. We do not feel that each piece of the chocolate tart and hojicha cakes was worth the price.

We appreciated the food menus for display but thought that the signs for each dish could have been more professional in appearance, rather than handwritten.

We were disappointed that some of the supplies we ordered (chopsticks, napkins, sterno) did not arrive on time.

Worst of all, on the day of the event, Jen Lin-Liu treated our serving staff extremely poorly. Her attitude and behavior were very aggressive and abrasive, which did not leave us with a positive impression of the restaurant. While we initially were very enthusiastic about partnering with Chang Chang for our event, we will definitely not do so in the future.

NOTE: I sent this feedback to Jen Lin-Liu directly, since she asked for feedback, but she never responded to me.

I went because they advertised unlimited dim sum, but it took 40 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and the pork ribs never came, so I left without eating them. I complained, but the restaurant still imposed a mandatory 20% tip on me.

I’ve never written a negative review, but there is a first for everything.

Miserable experience. I had a reservation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. When we walked into the restaurant, we were surrounded by 10+ uber eats drivers wearing big scooter helmets and crowding the hostess stand/front door area. We couldn’t speak to a hostess after what felt like 7 minutes of awkwardly waiting and never ended up getting seated (even though we had a reservation). It was extremely uncomfortable for my wife and myself. We are never going back. Not a good experience.

Avoid the all you can eat dim sum brunch! All of the food that we received was delicious. However there were no carts offering dim sum dishes, you place an order with a waiter who is few and far in between and good luck getting anything you ordered. We ended up with probably half of what we ordered, it came off like a scam.

Mixed feelings about this place. We tried their dim sum brunch menu. Good flavor but all of the pan cooked dishes too greasy to be considered good Chinese food (chow fun was a big disappointment). Steamed items were much better. Good serving of Peking duck in the bun. Good soup dumplings but no soup spoon. You have to ask for sauce if you want it other than the soup dumplings.

The good: soup dumplings, black bean pork ribs, har gow, chive & shrimp dumplings, bbq pork buns (steamed white ones), triple layered tofu skin pockets (has sticky rice inside), Peking duck, charcoal lava buns

Mid: crispy duck roll

The bad: beef & truffle pastry, puff scallion pancake, chow fun

Service - fast service overall but felt rushed and not friendly, had debris in my water, staff wasn’t knowledgeable about the food. When I asked about the pastry (bc we ordered the char siu one, server said idk walked away)

Foods we enjoyed: Peking duck bun, tofu skin pockets, shrimp & chives dumplings, soup dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings.
Yuzu soda and matcha teas were nice.

Otherwise food was overly greasy and average. The bbq pork pastry bun is not like any other I’ve ever had- it was a butter bomb of a crust and the inside was suspiciously what I would expect from the beef & truffle pastry on the menu. Was reassured by the staff that was the correct pork bun. Every bbq pork pastry bun I’ve had has red filling that isn’t drenched in butter.

Brunch menu is sorely missing an actual vegetable dish. Even cucumbers…

Server was rushed and distracted. Also did not seem knowledgeable about the food. Dumpling dishes came without sauces, had to request. Soup dumplings difficult to eat due to no soup spoon.
