First time eating checkers. Fries were phenomenal as I expected since they were kinda slow at the time and cooking everything to order. The chicken bites were good. I had a lot of driving to do so I didn't get a burger.

I had one of the worst fast food experiences ever at this Checkers location. First, they gave me the wrong order. Mistakes happen, but what followed was completely unacceptable.
Instead of remaking my food properly, they took apart a different order I had already received and reassembled it into a makeshift sandwichâliterally recycling food I had already touched. Thatâs not only lazy, it's disgusting and a clear food safety violation.
When I asked for a refund, they refusedâand forced me to take the food instead. On top of that, I had to wait an absurd amount of time just to get this messed-up order. They had no sauces available either, and the overall hygiene was awful. Staff were not using gloves correctly and were visibly ignoring proper food handling protocols.
After waiting even longer, I was told to wait 5 more minutesâthen they told me to get back in line behind 5 cars just to remake my food âin secret,â which immediately raised red flags. I did not trust what would come out of that kitchen after how poorly everything else had been handled. Again, I asked for a refund and was denied.
This place needs a serious inspection and retraining on both customer service and food safety. Absolutely unacceptable.

This particular checkers was terrible. We stopped on our way to an event in DC the whole family got food. Not one of us got what we ordered mustard all over my sandwich couldn't even eat the thing every one of our burgers were custom the way we wanted them none of them came that way. We paid almost $50 for food that was not edible. I literally talked my family into going too checkers because it's better (not anymore) Go to the McDonald's across the street I would never recommend that on the regular but you don't want to eat here.

The only thing we ate French fries I tried to eat my burger because I knew I would not get to eat until evening. There was that much mustard on it even forcing myself I could only eat half. Keep in mind there was not supposed to be any ketchup or mustard on this burger.

Hi there. Our visit was late, so I am not sure who are all responsible for the situation. We sat in the drive-thru line for more than 10 minutes before getting our food. I didnât want to sit and check my food because my pepper spray was home, there was a suspicious woman by the window as well. This Checkers is closer to be but now itâs officially over, so hopeful for this fast-food place because itâs been there as long as Hogs on a Hill. Sad itâs not one thing but another thing, Nerds slushie machine âdefrostingâ the store wasnât even close to closing yet so I assumed they didnât want my business any longer last night. Lastly, THE FRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! Checkers employees that were on shift last night, all of them! Iâm not sure who thought it was okay or even worse maybe not paying attention. No more business for a while.
The manager there was so patient with me. She explained everything clearly to me and listened to my concerns. I can't believe I forgot her name but she was so good to me and I think people should really take the time to remember how hard they are working in there.

Had to tell the cashier my order almost five times, even though I had placed my order at the drive thru speaker and they told me the price before saying I could pull through. I was trying to order their newer sandwich (super loaded bufford that's advertised ALL OVER their store) and their fully loaded fries. When I tried telling the cashier my sandwich order, he just looked at me completely confused and claimed they don't serve a Super Loaded Bufford, just a Bufford... I ended up just getting the Bufford (not what I wanted) just to move on. I just don't understand why I had to repeat my order so many times and then they couldn't find the specific sandwich I had originally wanted. Overall, highly disappointed and just confused as to why this even happened. Definitely will not go back and I highly advise others to consider going to a different location to avoid frustration.
