Can only recommend the place - have been there 3 times in last weeks and quality of food and service was always excellent
The food for our party of four was just okay and not worth the high prices charged. The service was spotty--dishes served without the proper utensils to eat them. Items forgotten which required a return to the kitchen. Overall, this restaurant is overrated in the guidebooks. I visit DC regularly on business and will not return. There are many other restaurants that are much better for the same or less $$
One of our best dining experiences ever! Susan was such a delight. The food was truly amazing! Thank you!
The food is consistently good and our service was excellent! I always love their crispy duck and other guests enjoyed the beef and tuna
Great spot, crowded seating though good great pretty ambiance noise was high and tables packed in
Tasty brunch spot in Georgetown. Would recommend: onion soup and steak tartar. Omelette was a bit overcooked.

One word: overrated. I dined here last week with a group of four. We ordered the sea bass, burger, mussels, and salmon. The prawn croquettes appetizer was actually quite good, which earned this place two stars from me. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes didn’t leave much of an impression — everything was just okay, nothing memorable.
If you’re looking for authentic French cuisine, there are better options in the area. The setting was pleasant, the service was inattentive, and the food didn’t quite live up to the hype.

Delightful French restaurant in downtown DC! I got the Salmon as main dish, and it was perfection! Not overcooked, balanced flavor profile, and a sauce that complemented the fish perfectly.
Crème brûlée was the real deal! And I know as my father is a classically trained French chef, and I often order crème brûlée to try to find one that matches my father’s, and this one did!

First time diner. Coming back soon. Delicious classic french food. Sea bass was excellent. Lovely space with outdoor patio too

Great dinner, not inexpensive. The staff is fantastic. From the executive chef to the bus staff. Our waiter was very good. The service was only eclipsed by the food.

Service was fantastic - very attentive! Food was delicious, but I’ve had more enjoyable versions of most of the items I tried. The pastry on top of the escargot and the riz au lait (rice pudding dessert) were my favorite. Cute outside patio!

I've been going to Chez Billy Sud since it opened. It's elegant and charming and the service has been consistently great! That was true for this visit. We got to dine outside and it was glorious. I always get the onion soup as I consider it one of the best in DC. I hate to be cranky about the food but the onion soup was a total disappointment. The portion was very decreased, the cheese was barely there, and the broth was too sweet. Plus, it was very expensive for what you got. The salad, however, was excellent and I'm sure the other dishes were too. The ambiance and charm will keep me coming back!
The food was of high quality and restaurant ambiance and decoration takes you back to old Paris. The service was very efficient and friendly. Will go back again.
