The food was good, but the service was terrible. They tried to charge me desserts I didn't order, and the waitress knew it already! They also charged me my Coke twice because there was only one refill. I didn't know that. And for all this bad service, I had to tip 20%. I'm disappointed.

Service was excellent, food was delicious! Bread was stale, but when we reported this, we got a new basket with fresh bread. Otherwise, excellent!

If I could I would give it six stars. One of the best restaurants we've been in a long time. Scallop appetizer and Sea Bass entree out of this world, Steak-Frites and Yellow Fin Tuna entrees exceptional, Crème Brûlée excellent. Nice cocktails. Perfect service, on top of everything without being too much. Outdoor seating at 5pm, very pleasant. Inside of the restaurant charming as well. A must if you're in Georgetown area or anywhere in DC, for that matter!

We had the absolute best dinner last night at Chez Billy Sud! Food, drinks and ambiance were all incredible, and we loved our service from Susan. I will be returning for as many special occasions as I can in the future!

Absolutely a gem of DC and our favorite restaurant to dine. Food, service, and atmosphere are always on point and consistent. They have the best escargot in town!

My friend and I were refused further service, while dining there one evening last year. He had just lost his mother the day before and he was distressed but quiet. I left the table twice. We were there for less than an hour. We asked our server why and he explained that the general manager did not give an explanation. Strange. Snooty.

It’s probably a top 3 restaurant in DC for me but the hours, bro. It’s not like existentially their fault, Georgetown sucks and all that, but it’s google review their fault in that like: they’d make more money as a business staying open until 11pm. They would, everyone in dc would that is this style of restaurant. It’s just typically boring business practice from another great dc restaurant. Stellar bartenders.

Great local restaurant in Georgetown.

Would have been nice to get a quick taste of the wine order (glass) before pouring.

My daughter took me here for my birthday. The service was great! The food was great! And the atmosphere was cute and quaint!

Parking: When it comes to parking in Georgetown, it will always be a challenge unless you go on Sunday when parking on the street is free. There's also a paid garage lot to use.

As a guest, I cannot testify about prices
Our waitress became confused when one person ordered their main dish while taking an order for appetizers. Then, she assumed that no one else wanted to order a main course. Escargot was not enough for my meal. Then I asked if anyone else wanted a main dish. I ordered, and everyone had to wait for me to eat

The manager had pressured us to urgently leave our table saying that someone was waiting for our table. We have not even finished our wine or our coffee without any heads up. As soon as we paid our bill we were told to leave. This is unacceptable in terms of customer service. We really loved the food and the service, but this final bit ruined the entire experience.

This was our third time at Chez Billy Sud. The first two experiences were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately our third time was a disappointment. Our waiter apparently thought he was French and in Paris. We were I guess the ugly Americans. He barely gave us the time of day and skipped over even giving us a bread basket. Unfortunately Chez Billy adds 20% already so they have zero incentive to treat us well (and I am not saying that people must be given money to be nice but it surely does help). My steak was cooked perfectly but lacked any seasoning. I guess they felt the sauce was all it needed and even that lacked flavor. The fries were okay and would have been better if they were hot. My son had the duck which he did say was amazing. Anyhow a very mixed third time experience but I don't think there will be a fourth. Au revoir Chez Billy.
