Ambience was kind of loud and cafeteria like, but the food was really shockingly amazing!

They let their chicken sit too long got me sick. Also service is pretty trash. Waited for like 20 minutes watching the workers talk without being served. Location on U st is better.

Nice restaurant and atmosphere. You can eat in or sit outside and eat out. The food was really good.
Me and My Son ordered the half chicken with the rice, plantains and coleslaw. The chicken was seasoned so well and very juicy. The rice and coleslaw was so good.

We stopped by after a DC United night game with our kids. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing and disturbing experience. It was bad enough that the chicken was undercooked. But far worse was the situation with the shared space and restrooms with the bar next door. What we encountered was beyond unacceptable. There were drunk adults having sex in the restroom — something no parent should have to explain to their children after a simple dinner outing. Definitely not a family-friendly environment. Between the unsafe food and the unsafe surroundings, we won’t be coming back — and we strongly urge other families to stay away.

I come here once a week a cheeky meal so I only have good things to say. The chickens always scintillating, moist and flavorful, just how you want.
Love the arroz and frijoles. The arroz chaufa has bacon bits which is crazy. The picante sauce will knock the jocks off you ya.
The bar in the backs good too. Lots of tequila selections which you love to see.
The last 3 times I’ve ordered for a pickup my order has not been ready and I’ve waited for 5-10. No biggie, but would be nice to pick up on time.

Cluckin' Delicious
The chicken? Absolute smoky, tender perfection—like it had been kissed by fire and blessed by flavor gods. Pair it with the green sauce and you’re in poultry paradise.
Now, about that “served with basmati rice” claim... Let’s just say if the rice were any more modest, it’d be a garnish auditioning for a starring role. Delicious? Sure. Portion? Blink and you'll miss it.
The black beans, however, came to party—bold, seasoned, and worth every bite. Highly recommend.
The beef empanada? Tasty, but the cheese was trying a little too hard to be the main event. Tone it down, queso.
And the plantains? Wow. Burnt sugar magic. They practically waltzed in as dessert.
Servers were cool, food and drinks good
The chicken had decent flavor but was really dry. Also, the rice had a similar problem, good seasoning but very dry. They were low on wedges, so I waited for some fresh ones. They were the star of the plate.
The staff were friendly and helpful. I was greeted right away, and my order was taken promptly.
The vibe inside was pretty glumm. They had very few customers inside or outside. It didn't give a vibe of a great place to hang out and have a meal after a game.
