A very interesting hole in the wall, super cozy. Friendly staff, fast efficient service and ofcourse. Amazing food! Absolutely delicious! Ask for their House fried rice! It will not disappoint.

Great service, everything came quickly and tasted amazing. Only took a star off on food because there was a piece of beef which I can’t eat in my jajangmyeon that was only supposed to have shrimp and scallions.

Food looked great but lacked flavor.
It was fine. Has very high reviews so I had high expectations. Maybe it was because their vegetarian foods are just not as flavorful

There is a Gluten Free menu! :) The small dishes are large enough to share. The coconut custard was not what I expected and it was amazing in texture and flavor.

Ordered takeout from here. Got the chicken fried rice which was really good! It had lovely chunks of bacon in there. I also tried the soup which was flavorful and a good amount of spicy. I’d probably go back and sit in the store. Portion sizes are worth the price!

Went for dumpling happy hour on a whim when I was in the area. It was great! Decent prices ($5 for 3 medium sized dumplings), but the real benefit was the taste. I recommend trying each type of dumpling. Very saucy and crispy but perfectly cooked inside. There was only one other person there when I went around 4:30pm so no wait time either.

CHIKO is such a fun spot for bold, modern Chinese-Korean flavors. The space is casual but stylish, with an open kitchen vibe that makes it feel lively and welcoming. The orange-ish chicken, pork and kimchi potstickers, and Wagshal’s brisket with rice are all standouts — everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.
The staff are friendly and quick, making the whole experience easy and relaxed. With its cool atmosphere, inventive dishes, and approachable prices, CHIKO is a go-to spot for anyone craving creative Asian comfort food.

I have to say this is pretty good. I know delivering meat and sauce on tots would make it very soggy so I asked for deconstructed version hah. These tots stayed crunchy for a really long time I was very surprised. The sauce is a little cheesy, good to dip the tots. Bulgogi has more pepper than I want. Kimchi and rice are okay. The menu doesn't have a lot of options tho.

Chiko is where bold Korean flavors meet modern fast-casual vibes 🔥🥢. The Dupont Circle outpost delivers the same punchy, flavor-packed dishes that made the brand famous — approachable yet exciting every time. Walkable from Indonesian Embassy (KBRI Indo at Washington)
