I was served spoiled guacamole that was brown in color and tasted awful—completely unacceptable. The guacamole at the counter was visibly brown, yet the workers didn’t hesitate to scoop it onto my plate. Please ensure this doesn’t happen again.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The customer service at this Chipotle was incredibly disappointing, and my family and I did not deserve to be treated this way—especially during our first visit to D.C.

From the moment we walked in, we weren’t greeted—not even a simple “hello.” The employee serving us was cold and unfriendly, barely acknowledging us and giving a blank, disinterested stare as he prepared our order. When I asked for cilantro, the cook (or at least someone I assumed was the cook) responded curtly, even though I know other Chipotle locations offer it.

To make matters worse, another employee came out from the back and spoke with a noticeable attitude. The counters were visibly dirty, and they slid our bowls across them without care. I understand that running out of ingredients can happen, but the way they informed us was abrupt and unapologetic.

Overall, this experience left a really bad impression, and it’s disappointing that my first visit to D.C. included such poor service. Unfortunately, it makes me hesitant to visit another Chipotle out here in the future.

Enjoyed a nice meal with decent portions and great service! The restaurant offers a comfortable and clean space to sit and enjoy your food. A solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal.

They almost always leave things out of my order

Bad service, people who charge with bad character, like they don't want to work because the spleens for water are free, they charged me only because they gave me one for soda but I explained that I only wanted water that was 11 a.m.

It’s always dirty in here and lately the staff have been terribly rude. I am concerned for people with food allergies coming into this location because several times serving spoons have been reused for different items.

Horrible experience, the smallest portion I have ever seen or have been served in my life. They wanted to fill a 8oz container with water from the shredded beef and charge me for it as to fix there previous mistake. I had to decline and order chicken and pay for it. I will not return and I will have all the photos posted on social media.
The place is disgustingly filthy!!

I don't often post negative reviews, but after a few unpleasant experiences at different Chipotle locations, I will be posting any time I have a bad experience from now on, considering it's so rare I have a good one. When traveling with my picky son for chess tournaments, there's often a Chipotle close by, so I'll order for pickup for him so he can eat in between games. I picked up only to return to hotel to find it was the wrong order and it was covered in sour cream. Had to walk back to get them to make correct order. Why do they so often get it wrong?
