At the recommendation of colleagues I checked this place out for lunch and glad I did. Tim helped me choose the best option(the thai sandwich) is really good.. with just a good amount of spice :)

i didn’t have the chance to eat my food from here because of the poor customer service. so recently, i had ordered almost $100 worth of food from this restaurant via doordash. unfortunately, the doordash driver had stolen my food and i was unable to eat it. when another dasher notified me of my stolen food i had asked them to ask the restaurant to remake the food because i obviously hadn’t received it. the dasher told me that the restaurant said that they weren’t remake the order because it would be “bad for their brand and that “it’s not their problem” that someone stole my food. obviously i get that they’re losing money by someone stealing it and me requesting to have it remade but the remarks were so rude and uncalled for. i definitely think that they could’ve handled it better. i wish i could’ve had the chance to eat their food because it looked great, but i think their customer service is lacking.
Cool little place inside an old auto repair garage. Very informal, prices are reasonable for DC. Panang chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, full flavored with a hot kick! French fries were also very good. The rotisserie half chicken was just OK, a bit bland and it was reheated in a microwave. So we thought it might have been cooked many hours previously.

My first visit was already a mess—they handed my order to someone else even though I was clearly sitting there waiting. When they finally remade it, there was a hair in the food. That alone should’ve been enough for me to walk away for good, but I gave them another chance, hoping it was just a bad day. Big mistake. The second time, not only was the service just as careless, but a bartender literally leaned over my plate, putting her nose and hair into my food trying to “help” identify if it was mine. Are you kidding me? It was beyond gross and completely unprofessional. I’m frustrated, disappointed, and honestly appalled. Never again.

I went to the Chop Shop for lunch today. The Peruvian Chicken and sides are good. Jose Joya was very nice in getting my order ready to go. I would recommend coming here for a quick lunchtime pickup spot.

It's a cool little Peruvian restaurant off on a side street. The food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Very traditional Peruvian food.

No flavor, no salt on salad, needs more sauce or vinegar. Picture of the food online is different, smaller size served. Good fries, but the sandwich is not worth it. Thank you!
I travel to D.C. occasionally for work and decided to give them a try. The food was really good and their staff was nice. You get a lot of food for your money, I carried out and you can see from my photos they had everything packed up really well. Their building has two doors, one where you can order through a kiosk and one a little further down where you can grab your food if you're carrying out. I would eat here again.

Great cook, the sandwiches are really good and the chicken is something else.
I recommend !
I go there from time to time because I know one of the owners and the vibe is cool. Food and drinks are always on point but I am very disappointed by one of the bartenders. On the 26th of November he gave himself a $41 tip on top the $10 dollar tip I myself tipped. My bill was $70 plus the 10 I tipped which made my total $80. I checked my account to find he tipped himself an extra $41 bringing my total to $120 for a small nacho and 3 drinks during happy hour. Sad to say I will not be returning and will encourage my friends not to as well.

absolutely loved the fries and panang sandwich. The chop shop sandwich was a little boring but still good. Only recommendation would be better buns. The sandwiches are messy and a lot of it fell out from the bun!

I ordered lunch from them through their website which pushes users to the toast platform.
When I placed my order at noon, the pick-up time was 12-20 minutes but upon receiving the confirmation email was notified the new time would be 10:14PM, way past my lunchtime. I reached out to the restaurant and got no response on multiple tries. I reached out to toast who told me they couldn't help and to keep reaching out to the establishment. It's been over 2 weeks now and I haven't been able to contact the restaurant or get a refund.
