The food was OK, but when paying with credit card, their machine ask you for a tip and suggest three tipping levels beginning at 20%, the mid level tip is 25%, which I selected. This is the same tipping percentage as a full service restaurant, but here at Chopt, you get your own utensils, napkin, beverage and bus your own table. No one steps from behind the counter to help. In this type of fast food self-service situation, I feel that 10% would be appropriate. Their "suggested" tip % is highly inappropriate for their level of fast food type service.

Ordered online and went to pick it up. It wasn't ready at the specified time. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes. It would have been faster to just go through the line, which completely eliminates the purpose of ordering online.

Always fresh and I love getting a salad, just the way I like it!Parking: Difficult to find in downtown DC, but worth looking patiently. Eventually a space will become available.

Visited 10/21/23. I chose the create your own salad. This includes four ingredients. Additional ingredients are .79 cents. I chose avocado as one of my four. When I went to the register, I was told a different price. I asked Amandy, my salad prepper, why the price is higher. I was informed that avocado is an extra cost. I said oh this is my first time here." You didn't tell me that." Then, her and the male salad mixer pretended not to understand english and only speak to me in Spanish. The salad mixer asks in English what type of dressing I want. I asked, "Am I allowed to get a fourth item for free since I paid for the avocado?" He looked at me, started speaking in Spanish. Then I said forget it. I chose white vinegar dressing.Vegetarian options: This is a salad restaurant. There is more veggies than meat options.Parking: To get to this location, you have to park far away. Most of the parking In front is already taken.

First, I'd like to start off by saying how much I usually love Chopt's service. As this was the first place I have ever worked and taught me a lot about customer service. As of late I'm finding the service to be subpar from this location. I find certain managers at this location to be extremely petty and cheap when it comes to putting my crunchy toppings in a larger sized side container for my takeout order. No one else at this location ever gives me an issue while getting a larger container expect one member of management. I spend $15+ on a meal here consistently and am fully aware of portion sized servings being a former employee so I don't understand when they say they cant afford to give me more than literally 5 croutons in a ramekin. Cheap and Petty, will be going to Cava moving forward.

I could do this all day. It's salad, your way. I used to get shrimp, jalapenos, and edamame in mine. Fresh lemon juice dressing.

I placed an online carryout order for the Sweet Summer Cobb Salad, which features fresh peaches and sounded delicious. The salad was good in so many ways. The agave dijon vinagrette was a delightful dressing. The "sweet and smoky chicken" had a nice bite to it. All of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. So why did I only give it a "could've been better" two stars? Those ballyhooed fresh peaches? Yeah, they never made it into the bowl.

Not super impressed. Not a lot of options in my opinion and only the first 4 salad ingredients are included in the base price.

Chopt is a popular salad chain that offers a variety of fresh and healthy options for diners. I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Washington DC location, and I was impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. The variety of salad options at Chopt is truly impressive, with a range of ingredients and dressings to suit any taste or dietary preference. I opted for the Mediterranean tahini bowl, and I was blown away by how delicious it was. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the tahini dressing added a creamy and satisfying texture to the dish. It was a perfect balance of protein, vegetables, and grains.Aside from the food, I was equally impressed by the customer service at Chopt. The staff members were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had.Overall, I highly recommend Chopt for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal in Washington DC. The variety of salad options is great, the Mediterranean tahini bowl is a must-try, and the customer service is top-notch. I look forward to returning to Chopt for my next salad fix!
