Paid $30 for a bowl of lettuce. They gave barely any of the other salad ingredient, even the ones I paid extra for. They also didn’t give the dressing or bread with my order. So it was $30 for a bowl of dry lettuce.

Prices have gone up but quality of food has not. Still way too much lettuce and little add-ins. Way too expensive for a salad.

I really do love their salads but the cross contamination is dangerous and needs to stop! I went maybe a couple months ago and told the manager that the employees making the salads should change their gloves more often after seeing one of them grab shrimp then dig in other items with the same gloves! Some people are severely allergic to shell fish. Then to top things off, on 8/09/2023 I had an allergic reaction right after I finished my lunch. I had to spend extra money on antihistamines in the middle of my work day. Please please please solve this problem before you come across someone that will want to pursue legal action!

The manager at the 19th and L St location in NW DC is amazing! His name is Jimmy and he has such a great vibe and his staff has the same energy. The food is good but the service is the star!

06.02.23Terrible speed of service, team does not communicate and no proteins available. Service line has excessive cross contamination and the manager deploys team members poorly. No toppings were fresh and the base person was confused the whole time. I walked out. Never coming here again a true disappointment and a waste of time. Sweetgreen at Mt. Vernon is further away but worth the commute.

I would like to give a shout out and big THANK YOU to Maurice and team for ensuring that everything went well with our order. He was professional, prompt and thorough and frankly went above and beyond. He called to make sure order was delivered as well as patiently walked me through the order the day prior to ensure that we had everything including orders that came in after I had submitted the order. I also want to add that I loved the platform ordering system as well as the Uber notification/tracking. I was a little nervous placing the order from Texas especially since the delivery was for our DC office, but things could not have flown smoother. Many thanks again Maurice and sending a big Texas THANK YOU!

Chopt is a go-to. The only thing I don’t like is that they don’t actually chop your salad anymore unless you ask! A customized Palm Beach is my usual order (kale, palms, cucumber, tomato, egg whites, chicken with Smokey chipotle).

I love the chiken tinga salad. The amount of protein is generous, the salad is fresh and the base is perfectly cooked

Orders are never ready for pickup, wait time is very long. And when you ask for help, they just look at you and ignore you like if you don’t exist

Anders Tharaldsen

Love their made to order salads.

They make my salad perfect every time ?

Chopt is a salad assembly line made with generally subpar ingredients. There is always a line out the door, but it moves quickly. This lunch spot requires little to no human interaction or order. It's perfectly designed to get you in and out the door and back to your desk. The chicken is very very bad. It doesn't even taste like chicken. Overall the salad is edible and will keep you full when you're in a pinch for lunch. But I would not recommend stopping by just to check it out.
