Great spot. Great staff. Not the most options for vegetarians/vegans but otherwise awesome.

Beer selection is really nice with a lot of variety on tap. The food is just Ok, not what you would expect from a nice place like this. My advice, eat before coming at the many other nice restaurants around the area and enjoy the beers and atmosphere at the bar.

Amazing tap list and good food. We had our 8 month old and they had a high chair for them. No changing tables but not expected in a place like this. Friendly staff too!

Shells in my fried oysters, beer selection is a tenth of what it used to be and they were out of many things

This place, along with their sister bar in Georgetown (Sovereign), is where you need to go in DC if you want great beer! The DC metro area in general is severely lacking in breweries for some reason... (rent costs? Understandable). If you want good breweries go to Richmond, but if you want the breweries to come to you, go to ChurchKey!
Gillie and Horeya were absolutely phenomenal!! I will be back. They were so amazing. The entire party had a great time, largely because they took such good care of us.

Nice big space, plenty of TVs to watch games on... one of the best selection of craft beers I've seen in the city. I've only eaten there once and the food was good, nothing fancy, just solid bar food for a reasonable price.
My only suggestion: mute the games unless it's a big game involving a DC team. Was surprised to go in there a few weeks ago and the World Series was blasting, and even more unfortunately, the commercials. I love baseball but I don't think anyone cared to hear commentary/commercials for a New York-Los Angeles game. Also was surprised to find the same last night... Sunday night football and commercials blaring even though Detroit and Houston was playing.
Anyone can watch the game with or without the commentary, but I'd venture to guess most people would rather have music on. Just my two cents.

What an incredible tap and can/bottle list! Our server was very patient with our large group and many, many rounds of beers. The interior is super cozy while being lively - had a huge bar which a place like this demands. Only two in our group ate, but fried oysters and duck confit sandwich were very tasty. Looking forward to going back again.
