I stop at ChurchKey EVERY TIME i am in DC. Best beer bar around. Even have 3 on cask. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

This place has really changed. For such an expensive New Years Eve celebration we expected more and were ultimately disappointed though we used to enjoy ChurchKey as an after work spot. The promise of NYE canapés and gourmet bites for 4.5 hours was short lived, cut off after only 2.5 hours in exchange for very paltry dessert samples (a cookie, a chocolate bite and a butterscotch cannoli). The DJ had a very hard time reading the crowd and consistently played a selection that kept people glued in their seats until just when the ball dropped when the dance floor gained a few souls. The best part of the night was the genuinely open bar and friendly bartending service with good cocktails and craft brews that we took advantage of as best as we could. Wouldn’t go back unfortunately

We hosted our wedding weekend welcome party at ChurchKey, and we’re so glad we did. Victoria and her team were communicative throughout the process of determining our space and the menu. And during the event, the staff was great. The space was great for our event, the food was delicious, and no one had to wait long at the bar for a drink. We got so many compliments from our guests. We would definitely recommend hosting an event at ChurchKey.
