A cute little restaurant near GWU campus - had a great mango chicken salad. Waiter was very nice and efficient.
The bruschetta starter was very good, the humus and Salmon main course were just average, nothing wrong just ok. The service was great. However I really object to the 4.95% additional charge for service that is then expressed to be not a tip but as a result of an increase in basic wage. Wages are an overhead about 30% in catering usually so it's a 15% percent charge on the wage overhead. It's not a tip it's just an undeclared cost on the menu, that's what the prices are for.
My go to place! Love the cocktail, wine selection, and all the seafood options during lent. Highly recommend the tuna poke nachos, wild mushroom flatbread, and scallops.
Food took a little while to come out eventhough all of us only ordered salads. However, the food was delicious. Would definitely come again.
Brunch was great with good options. It wasn't loud at all and I'd definitely go back.
We had a wonderful meal, we were on the (covered) patio on a cool evening but it was perfectly fine. Service was good, my friend felt her first drink was a little light but the manager stopped by and corrected it for the second one. The location for dinner before the Kennedy Center is good, try it!
Another in a long line of fun, imaginative and healthy meals. Seated exactly where we requested. Boat was especially pleasant; server and runners personable and helpful, as always. Flatbreads are an excellent option for a shareable appetizer. We don't eat chicken, but the other three are all excellent, perhaps the 4-cheese/spinach our flavor and texture favorite. Seared sesame tuna is always first rate. Excellent, reasonably priced wine selections.
Another outstanding experience at Circa. Our meals were chosen from the brunch menu and they were delicious. The staff, as always, treated us like friends and made us feel very welcome. Finally, our meal was less expensive than we expected in these times. All in all, a very enjoyable experience before our afternoon concert at yhe Kennedy Center.
I was visiting DC. My girlfriend and I were looking for a restaurant that was near our hotel. The hostess at the hotel referred us to the Circa. Omg. We walked in and was very impressed with the atmosphere. We were seated by Claudia. She was very friendly. The ceasar salad was the best ever. I couldn’t put my fork down. The desert was amazing. The salmon was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Vegetarian options: I had cauliflower mashed potatoes with Kale.

Got off Kennedy Center Shuttle on Sunday about 4:30 looking for an early meal. Circa is right across the street. . Circa has great hours 11am to closing. Very modern decor. Great service. Food is terrific and menu is very varied. Great salads, flatbread sandwiches, burgers as well as fancier meals. Portions are large. Then we hopped back on Metro to go home. Great place.

I came in for drinks on Wednesday and had a wonderful time. Our waitress, Claire, was great. She was the perfect balance between attentive while at the same time not rushing us. She also gave a wonderful recommendation for wine. I will definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here last ight and our meals were great!!! I had a kale salad ( couldn't get enough of it) and a burger which was very very juicy and seasoned well. My boyfriend had the jambalaya over angel hair pasta. He raved about it,,,and he is THE MOST difficult person to please let me tell you. We had patio seating which was enclosed but still cold. It was a bit uncomfortable and they couldn't move us inside even though there were tables available inside. We were told they were reserved ( get that) but no party showed up til we were leaving. All in all we enjoyed the food (little over priced) and the service was good. We would return for sure. However, if people are being seated in the patio area, when it's so cold outside, have a better heating system.

Had the short rib with spinach and mashed potatoes. The au jus was lovely. Everything else was just ok.

Based on other reviews I was disappointed by the quality of the food. The flatbread with mushrooms was oily, the brussel sprouts were soggy and the Foggy Bottom (a specialty drink) was weak. Based on this meal, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Brussels sprouts were delicious. Steak and frites were ok- steak kind of tough and not very tender. Good service and ambiance.
