A friend of mine took us here for a late dinner lastmonth since they told us it was great. They weren’t wrong, our experience was great! We came at around 8 PM on a Friday and they were a little busy but we got a table. Our server was super friendly. We started with the calamari as an appetizer which was tasty! As my entree, I got the Margarita Flatbread. Overall it was good! The toppings were tasty and it was cooked perfectly.Overall, if you’re in the Foggy Bottom area of DC, Circa is a good spot! I’ll be back.

Great spot right next to the university just off the subway. Came for an early dinner and the place was pretty empty but filled up as we were heading out. The food and service was great.

Recommended by our hotel clerk. Wait was 20 min, they do have an outside patio . It was busy but everyone kept cool, the waitress Linda was excellent very helpful. The chicken T soup was excellent . Their Circa burger with their sweet potato fries are second to none. They were fantastic. Parking is hard your on your own. Reservations are recommended . Great experience .

I got the BBQ chicken flat bread.... It was amazingggg and my bartender was Shelby she was amazingly I told her something sweet as strong as this drink was sooooo delicious ? she knew exactly what I wanted. It was like I was sitting on an island drinking my cocktail ?????I will be back for her! She's super nice and attentive ?

Circa's selection of dishes offer uniquely refreshing takes on casual dining staples.Very few restaurants in this space can table up menus that can truly wow – every item came with a distinctive culinary touch that demonstrates the effort and creativity underpinning the menu. The pretzel loaf was unexpectedly light, with a surprising crispness and fluffy interior. The seared tuna was insultingly delicious, and was accompanied by bright fruits, veggies, and herbs that complimented the weightiness of the tuna. The cocktail menu was refreshing and presented a difficulty in choice, as each one offered something intriguing.Service was clean and to the point, much appreciated after a long day. The atmosphere was nice, though I would love to see table decor and lighting that better matched the innovativeness of the menu. Many restaurants I can say I left happy and satisfied – but I cannot say the same of Circa, for three reasons: we didn't have enough time, money, or space in our bellies to try all the other food that caught our eyes!

This restaurant is AMAZING!!! We ordered several items off the menu and was able taste everything.
Super convenient location to the metro and plenty of parking garages nearby. The food is good and they have a heated patio so we were able to eat outside in February. Highly recommend it if in the area.

If you happen to sit at the bar, staff congregates there for long periods of time, giving the appearance that restaurant is overstaffed- and the talk is annoying. No uniform pattern of dress, other than something has to be black. Drinks are expensive and weak. Food, at least the spinach flatbread, is excellent. Overall, restaurant appears to have potential, but management style is in need of improvement
