Overall, the food, service and atmosphere are pretty good. Appetizers are pretty tasty. I gave it three stars overall because the management appears to be stupid. You have pretty high prices and then you add a mandatory almost 6% service fee/charge as a kitchen fee. It’s on all items on the menu, so don’t add some ridiculous fee that’s written in small font. Raise your prices 5.75%. It’s all taxable income for you. Better management and not hiding prices with a service charge would improve the place. But I do want to point out the difference in management being unable to financially manage their menu and the workers at the restaurant. The workers at the restaurant did a good job at the bar during happy hour and were very responsive to request for drinks and food.

Absolutely delicious. We loved everything from our appetizer and cocktails to our entrée. If you are not a big drinker, I highly recommend you still have a cocktail. I had a blackberry margarita that by far was one of the best margaritas having the perfect tartness balance. The atmosphere was perfect for socializing and the service spectacular.

Family traveling through from New England and this is our first time. Absolutely recommend this restaurant!! We ate early (5pm). Food was amazingly good and served fast. Service was friendly and helpful. We loved the Brussels+Blue salad (my non-vegetable eating son loved them!), Circa Burger (cooked perfectly!), and the Fried Grouper Sandwich (fish was larger than the bun). So good!!

Getting there was easy, parking was easy, and Everything was great! Kevin was our waiter very polite and patient. I also noticed they had several staff keep our table clean, really nice atmosphere too.

The service is always quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is casual making this an easy go-to whether you’re grabbing dinner with friends or just want a solid meal without overthinking it.
On my most recent visit, we started with the Herb Baked Parker House Rolls, which came warm straight out of the oven with whipped garlic butter. Our server recommended them as her favorite, and she was absolutely right. They were soft, buttery, and a perfect way to kick things off.
For my entrée, I ordered the Tequila Filet Tips Linguine which had grilled filet tips, linguine, green and red peppers, red onion, cilantro, and a tequila lime cream sauce. The filet tips were cooked just right and stayed tender, not dry at all. The sauce was spot-on too: enough to coat everything nicely without being soupy or overpowering. Balanced, flavorful, and really well done.
All around, Circa continues to deliver consistent food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be back and would order this dish again.

Outstanding! What an excellent dining experience. No complaints. On my list to return. The service was great. Food was exceptional! Restaurant week menu had a lot of versatility and flavors. My husband and I both chose the grilled trout for our entree and it did not disappoint! Quiet, classy atmosphere.
A very wide-ranging menu -- our server was knowledgeable and made valuable recommendations based after asking questions (tolerance for spiciness, etc.). Also great about understanding dietary restrictions. My Thai shrimp salad was really flavorful and delicious. Nice meal and great service!
If you’re looking for a business restaurant in the Navy Yard, Circa simply delivers on every front, Circa is your spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting although need some updates. Perfect for everything from a casual dinner to a relaxed celebration.
The menu focuses on well-executed classics. Their crusted roast chicken is a standout juicy, flavorful, and served with sublime garlic mashed potatoes. Don’t overlook the simpler options, however. The Circa Burger, with its prime beef and special sauce, is genuinely delicious, and their salads are fresh, generously sized, and far from an afterthought. Price is reasonable for a business gathering place.

Lovely restaurant. Food was excellent. Except two things. The dinners arrived before the appetizer. So the app was cold before we got to it. Secondly, we asked to substitute some mashed potatoes for the farro that the trout originally came with, and we were very surprised to be up-charged $12.00. You can buy ten pounds of potatoes for less money than that. I wish I could have given a five star review but there’s some definite room for improvement.

Enjoyed the Jambalaya and braised short ribs. Very tasty. Great music that wasn't too loud that you had to shout to communicate.

Highly recommend for breakfast the chicken and waffles + the shrimp and grits! For dinner, the jambalaya pasta was outstanding. The food is definitely better and fresher than I anticipated at Circa. The Service is lasts great and efficient too!

We were able to make a same-day reservation for two on a rainy Friday. The staff was very friendly, and the menu had apparently recently changed. We loved everything and will definitely keep this one on the regular list.
Overall, just fine. The food was tasty, but the portions were teeny - I left barely satiated and got hungry maybe an hour later. Maybe that's a way to get you to buy a dessert but I am not from a dessert family lol. Server was awesome, I liked that she could tell us what she liked on the menu, hopefully that means there are staff meals. Atmosphere of the space wasn't the best, the lighting was a little cold and lacking any elegance or coziness.

I dined alone on business travel. Service was quick and attentive. I had the Braised Short Rib. It was very tender and flavorful, and the Garlic Mashed potatoes were also good. I was able to get in, eat a nice meal, and get out, in not much more time than the nearby fast food options, with a much better dinner. I’ll come back.
