City Kabob & Curry House -2 (D.C)

Wanted to try something new during birthday excursion. redditors recommended this place. finding out that they had a buffet helped me ensure I'd definitely find something I like. but I actually loved EVERYTHING they had in their buffet once I got there. had multiple plates. If I lived closer, it would've been a regular spot for me. hope to visit again soon. would recommend to anyone.

Ordered 3 entrees and some sides for takeout through Door Dash. Food was delicious. Generous serving sizes and affordable prices. Slightly too much ghee or oil but that might have been due to carry out. Will definitely go back in person.

I unfortunately have never gotten the pleasure to go in person to the DC location as I have been to the Virginia location but I will say I probably eat from this place more than the average person through grubhub and I promise you my scale will agree. Not only are these people the sweetest as I’ve called them a little too much over little requests, but their food is amazing. It always is the same level of perfection and everything I’ve had across the menu is nothing but a 10/10! Trust me, I think I’ve grown an addiction.

best yasir bhai works best

Great food, always fresh. I come here on my lunch break and I always do the buffet. My choice are butter chicken with jasmine rice topped with chick peas, meatballs with egg and naan. Must try the pistachio ice cream and of course the Mango Lassi 🥭 is amazing.

Parking: Not alot of parking spots but usually it people just picking up orders.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is delicious, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond, offering the true warmth and hospitality of Pakistani culture. Every time I walk through the door, it feels like I’m entering a family gathering. It takes me back to childhood memories of attending weddings—where you could try a little bit of everything, and every bite was a joy!

The atmosphere is cozy and laid-back, making it the perfect escape from the fast-paced corporate world in D.C. I highly recommend the buffet—once for lunch and again for dinner. It’s a great way to sample a variety of dishes and discover your favorites.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’d do anything for this place and its incredible staff. Their kindness is unmatched and they're good people. This is a spot in D.C. that truly deserves a loyal, steady stream of customers.

We were five friends visiting Washington DC. and we googled halal buffet restaurant near us and we found this city kabob and curry house. The owner is very friendly and professional. The food was so delicious and lot of options to choose from. I highly recommend it. We had the buffet lunch and paid 20$ each.
