Food was well prepared. We sat at the bar. We will certainly come back again. People sitting around us also seemed satisfied with their dishes.

Not terrible but certainly not authentic Italian. Quite over priced for both quality and quantity. The pizzas were definitely underwhelming if you’ve had good pizza before.

Truly exceptional lunch at Claudio's Table in Palisades DC. Everything was delicious. The crumb on the pizza dough and the donuts (dusted with lemon sugar and served with a creme anglaise type sauce) were incredible. The sauces! The arugula salad with lemon oil dressing and shaved parmesan--I could eat that every day. Everything was perfectly seasoned and nothing too salty (pet peeve when salt is over used). Just the right amount for flavor to shine through. The panna cotta omg with real vanilla beans visible in the cream! Highest quality ingredients and generous helpings. Not one to fail to finish an individual pizza, I only ate half despite loving it! The chef owner is truly delightful and passionate about food and service and just as nice as can be.

?‼️Cannot say enough GOOD things about this restaurant. It is the freshest and most authentic Italian cuisine in the entire DMV area. Hands down. The dishes are unique and incredibly tasty.
Claudio, the head chef and owner, is *enhanced* the experience by coming over to chat and there is a huge open kitchen so you can watch his culinary magic firsthand. OKAY ALSO the gluten-free homemade pasta … are you kiddding!?!! It was extraordinary, and truly every item on the menu was delicious. From the innovative recipes to the warm atmosphere, this place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Italian dining experience. ???

Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options! They have homemade gluten free pastas :)

The pros were the charming hostess and the absolutely delicious food! The branzino, fried artichokes, and the cioppino were all perfectly prepared. The layer cake for dessert was also delightful.
The cons were the indifferent service from our older waiter with an accent, who could not be bothered to offer our table a smile, or share with us the menu specialties of the evening. He detracted from an enjoyable night, as did the incessantly ringing phone at the unattended host stand.

Need a more friendlier server, did not speak good English thus wasn’t that friendly, food was rather very expensive for the value, very disappointing

The food was good, not great. Seems like a very reliable place where everything is good but nothing is particularly interesting or flavorful. The service was very good and the staff was really friendly and attentive. My biggest complaint is they charged nearly $4 for four pieces of plain focaccia.

We had a lovely experience on our 1st time dining at Claudio’s table. Food was very good. I would especially recommend the fried artichoke appetizer. Overall nice atmosphere and a charming server, Charlotte from Belgium.
I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Outdoor patio needs a little improvement otherwise a great experience.

Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a while! Fried artichokes and butternut squash ravioli were fantastic. Service was great and I’d definitely come back with friends and family. Highly recommend!

We hadn’t been here for a while due to its initial limited menu. However, they’ve added daily specials, so we’ll be returning more frequently. The prosciutto with homemade breadsticks was amazing. We had the Cacio E Pepe and Lasagna was mains—delicious. We finished with the bombolini—outstanding. Wine by the glass was reasonable and very tasty. Christina was an excellent server. Not inexpensive, but moderate for a delicious meal. Not as noisy as when it first opened as well. Street parking still plentiful.

First off, INCREDIBLE! The food and service were both absolutely top-tier. The servers are so kind and attentive and the food, OH! Their pizza is extraordinary and the pastas are cooked to perfection. For a new restaurant, this has already easily made the top of my list! The atmosphere is so calming and rustic I love it! The ingredients also taste SO fresh. You should absolutely try this restaurant. 11/10.

Two of the four at our table ordered the nightly special chicken milanese and I also ordered spaghetti with clams. The chicken in the Milanese was delicious-crispy, juicy, flavorful-however, the traditional arugula with lemon dressing accompaniment was substituted for romaine and balsamic vinegar that predictably lent the dish a somewhat heavy, overbearing smearing effect. Balsamic vinegar is without a doubt the most overrated dressing on the planet. It should only be applied in an emergency attempt to create its unsophisticated and leaden flavor that tries and always fails to compensate for the chef’s failure to produce flavor by hard work and expertise. The spaghetti with clams should have been made with the traditional linguini, which holds onto the sauce better than spaghetti. The clams were fresh and tasty, the breadcrumbs and parsley enhanced the flavor however the entire dish was drowned in entirely too much butter and oil that took the dish into the unfortunate realm of yet another Italian restaurant in DC just can’t get the basics right.

I love this great Palisades neighborhood addition. The salad was fresh and crispy. The Bronzino was excellent. The vegetarian pizza had a delicious dough and the canoli was divine. I love this new restaurant and I plan on eating here often.
