We had an exceptional waitress Kai who made our last dinner in DC Perfect! We could not have asked for a better, more attentive and knowledgeable server! Class act!!!!
Love this place! Everything about this restaurant is top notch! I appreciate the many Gluten Free options available!
CLyde's is one of my go-to's. Always good food and service. Reasonably priced (especially for DC).
Been here twice. Service and food are top notch. Love the meatloaf! One of our favorite places to eat near the Klein Theater & National Portrait Gallery.
We had a pleasant lunch experience. The calamari was delicious and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Thank you 🙏
We arrived at 3:15 and were seated promptly. After a short wait, we ordered drinks and sandwiches. The drinks came fairly quickly. However, our sandwiches did not come to our table until 4:35 despite assurances they would be coming fairly soon. The waitress said the manager would come to speak to us. He helped bring food but didn't identify himself as the manager and dismissively said sorry . On the way out, I discovered he was the manager and asked him to explain why it took almost an hour for a sandwich. He didn't apologize and only said there was a big party (despite place being empty at that hour) and maybe ticket was misplaced. I am not a complainer and often go to Clyde's Tower Oaks and Friendship Heights but I won't go the Gallery Place again.
Great service with Ariana, food was reasonably priced, overall a great experience. Banana Bread Pudding highly recommended.
Nice beer and food for night. They were the only place open at 1am
Clyde's is consistently good with one of the best salads, burgers and crab cakes anywhere. I have never had a bad meal. Service was excellent, server was friendly, prompt and kept drinks filled. Great experience as always!!
Its a good place to go when you have a group and didnt make reservations ahead. The service was good and they have a good wine selection.

I had a lovely lunch here today - gorgeous food in elegant surroundings, with an attentive & witty waiter.
The restaurant appeared to have a staff shortage issue. I came in around 4:30pm. After 20 minutes my order was not taken. Upon looking over at other tables, it was clear to me that they hadn't ordered or received their food either. My child had enough time to complete all of the activities on her children's menu and was very hungry. Knowing that after 20 minutes and not ordering yet, the wait time to receive the food would be significant, we simply left and went to chick-fil-A across the street. I use to be a frequent patron when I lived in the DMV, it's sad to see how far the establishment has fallen.
My family and I went here for Father's Day dinner. The service was amazing. The food wasn't the best. The breaded catfish was bland. The burgers were dry, the wings were the best thing we all agreed on, and the drinks were watered down. My daughter's ordered the lemonade, and it had a funny smell to it. It wasn't busy at all. The ambiance was good. Overall, the rating was a 3 star only because of the food.
The crab cakes are amazing. Very little filler. The calamari was light on squid and heavy on peppers. The burger was over cooked and dry. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the sauce was so good my son dipped all his fries in it too! Yummy meal. Service was pretty good, she got a large table right after our food was delivered so she got caught up at their table, we would have liked to order more drinks but it's okay. Overall except the burger and calamari I was a great meal.
There was a dirty mega huge spider web floating up and down on the top of the lamp shade that was on our booth.
