I had 2 guests that dined at Clyde's for the first time and they had an amazing experience. The food was great, drinks were great, our server Will was phenomenal, funny and very knowledgeable of the menu. I had a guest who was diabetic and she wanted an alcoholic drink and Will was able to refer her to a yummy drink and that truly made her night. Clyde's is definitely one of the best parts of DC.

This place gave me a stomach ache! Waiter was fine, but not super friendly. Seemed annoyed when I asked what his name was, since he never welcomed us or introduced himself. Food was gross. Crab soup was a tomato soup with crab in it. It looked like it came from a can. Cabano sandwich was not a crisp panini but served on soggy garlic bread. It was practically inedible given how soggy and greasy it was. The calamari starter was okay, but unpleasant not knowing what you were about to eat since it was a mixture of calamari and pickles and zucchini, etc. Too fried. The salad that came with the calamari was inedible since they didn't cut around the stems. The fries didn't come with any sauce and our waiter was MIA; eventually a runner came by and we could ask him about BBQ sauce for the fries. The bacon cheeseburger was okay, albeit a little on the dry side. It also needed a sauce of some type. Great location, nice interior decor and vibe, but the food was a greasy, baffling mess. The only thing I enjoyed was the latte, the fries, and the Caesar salad.

It is located in Chinatown, and the atmosphere is noisy and dark like any other American bar. Food is average.

The table was ready at the time of our reservation. No waiting. Our waitress was a perfect 10, very pleasant, very knowledgeable of the menu, although very busy always checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The dinner and wine was superb. Highly recommend Clyde's Gallery Place as with any Clyde's Restaurant location.
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Had a minor mix-up on a drink that was handled without a problem. Our server Sheilita (sorry if the spelling is off) was personable and efficient. Kept checking on us in a friendly manner.

This a super-cozy restaurant: dim warm light and wood paneling. Crab cakes and fried chicken were exceptional. Service excellent!
