Good burger and Caesar salad. Outdoor seating was a nice plus. Easy to get to and well located
Very tasty food with generous portions. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Slight downside was quite a lot of noise from the kitchen. But nonetheless highly recommend.
We had a wonderful weeked lunch at Clyde's. I had the best Manhattan on the rocks that I've ever had and a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. My husband had a lovely martini and a very tasty salad with Salmon. Our waiter was amazing....perfect blend of there when we needed him and not there when we didn't. An overall lovely weekend lunch
We had a great time at dinner with friends. The drinks were a little inconsistent and the food was a little bland but overall we enjoyed our time there.
Excellent service and food. Restaurant adhered to my seating wishes and placed us in quiet , comfortable booth which enhanced our overall experience.
We did not want to miss dining at Clyde's while vacationing in Washington. The evening did not disappoint. Our waiter was engaging, prompt with our orders and delightful. The meal was delicious. Crab cake appetizer was moist and full of crab. Their wine list is extensive and we were able to enjoy some very good wines. We ordered the skirt steak, which was perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce on it. Bread pudding for dessert was delectable. Wonderful evening!
Service was great! Our server was wonderful and treated us to dessert totally unexpectedly, bc it was our anniversary. He had such a calm and composed demeanour. Very professional.
Lively atmosphere, friendly staff, high quality food. Nice place to host family, friends, and coworkers. Good seafood options on the menu.
We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The host, who had dyed hair (we couldn't catch her name), “greeted” us with an incredibly rude attitude. From the start, her behavior was downright foul. As for the food, my fried chicken rice bowl and my friend's Parmesan trout were good. However, our other friend's side orders of mashed potatoes and broccolini were cold. When we brought it to their attention, it took 15 minutes just to get them reheated in the microwave. The service overall, the worst we've ever experienced: slow, and completely unsatisfactory. We left deeply disappointed.
We sat for 14 mins before waiter came. Ordered a bottle of white and it took another twenty mins to get the bottle. Crab cake had a shell in it. I eat at Ebbitt, Hamilton, Clyde's regularly. This was the worst experience I have had in my 1 1/2 years of living in DC.

Service was top notch and the food was “fine” but not as memorable as I had remembered. Also the entire evening was more expensive than the last time (a couple of years ago - admittedly) I ate there.
We enjoy Clyde's, every time. It's cozy and has energy at the same time and one could say there are so many places why do you go back? It always feels good, lots of diversity in the menu, tons of inspiration from New England. We love the oysters and get this...Maine lobster for fixed price. Yes! And see you at Clyde's.
The lobsters we had were delicious and our waiter helpful and professional. We did not appreciate that the receptionist prevented our senior management to seat at the table until the arrival of at least three people. She was not even invited to wait at the bar.
Stopped in for brunch while shopping in Georgetown. Eggs Benedict was delicious and the bloody mary was what we needed. Service was also wonderful.

Lovely stop off for a drink while exploring Georgetown. Had a drink at the bar whilst waiting for a walking tour to start - no expectation to buy food.
They kindly let us use the bathrooms after our walking tour as well - thank you!
Lovely atmosphere and decor and friendly staff.
