They have their system auto accepting orders on the inKind app - yet the store is closed - then it defaults to order complete - and you are charged. So you place an order, go to the shop, it is closed, you are charged, you get no order and waste your lunch break.

QR system at the table is a bit weird compared to other places -- you have to close your tab before your order is submitted, so you're asked to tip before you've spoken to a single staff member or gotten your food. My friend was unable to submit her order via QR and so walked downstairs to the bar to order. The waiter didn't know the table numbers and so walked through the patio with our food before finding us seated inside, which I normally wouldn't mind but it was January so the food wasn't very warm when it arrived. Coffee was served in disposable containers even though we were dining in. The table was mounted to the wall but was broken, so it was slanted at a concerning angle. Pricepoint was good, decor and vibes were enjoyable, and food/coffee were tasty. 2.5 stars

I never leave reviews but my god is this place a rip off. The portion size to price is abysmal. I ordered the bbq chicken sandwich and the cheesecake on Uber Eats. There were 4 chunks of chicken at most. Chipotle has bigger protein portions.
The few bites of sandwich with meat were good and the cheesecake, although a little small for the price, was delicious.

The food was not fresh. It was from the day before they just warmed up and not even that because when eating it, some food was cold. Terrible Terrible experience. I won’t recommend it.

The apple pie bread pudding might be the best dessert/pastry I've ever had. I wanted more!!!! Lol ever think about heating it up. Omg!!! 5 stars for sure

Coffee’s always on point but the GM (taller Hispanic guy, glasses, with a real ego) was straight-up rude when I asked a simple question about the menu. Snapped at me like I was holding up the line (there was literally no one behind me). Place has great drinks but that kind of attitude from the guy running the show makes me just grab and go now.
Had the best spontaneous date night out here!! The service was incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the rooftop vibes were the cherry on top. Consistently a top DC spot. Highly recommend!!!

Colada Shop is my favorite happy hour in DC- the drinks are great, the patio is lovely, and Andres took great care of us. It's the perfect place to stop before a show at Black Cat.. Can't wait to come back!
