I was excited to try this brand, but it was disappointing. The coffee tasted burnt and bitter, which ruined the experience. It was clear that the shot-making process needs serious improvement; the group head wasn't cleaned after each shot, and the group handle was refilled without proper cleaning. This lack of attention to cleanliness made the coffee taste unpleasant. I hope they address these quality issues, as it has potential with some serious improvements. Had to chuck the coffee out after a few sips.

Hung out here while waiting to be ushered into Capital One Arena just across the street. Cozy ambiance, perfect for killing time. But the plot twist? Out of nowhere, the cashier goes, “We’re exact change only today,” the moment she spotted my Filipino self handing over a crisp $50. Coincidence? I think not. Still, good vibes all around!

Stopped here for respite after wandering around approximately one million museums. The coffee was good, but the service was what really stood out! In a city full of options, I would intentionally return to this spot because of the hospitably I experienced.

I visited this place after lunch to have a latte. I ordered a decaf oat milk latte, but the woman making the coffee was very unfriendly. When my latte came out, I was so disappointed. It seemed like she intentionally made it without any foam, and it didn’t even look good. I felt so upset that I almost brought the latte back to her and walked out, but I held back. I will never go back to Compass Coffee again.

this place “closes” at least 15 minutes before the listed time because they break everything down around then and you can’t get drip coffee. I tried this location on multiple times to figure this out…rarely actually walking out with coffee.

The staff here are fantastic! I got a latte from them and was enjoying it very much when I noticed a small piece of plastic in it. I pointed this out to the staff and not only did they remake my latte but they also refunded the order! In addition to this wonderful customer service, the layout is lovely and the music is fantastic. It is a perfect place to study or read a good book. Highly recommend the iced caramel latte.
I wanted to order a pastry but there were little bugs (maybe gnats?) crawling on several of the pastries in the display box. I ended up getting a bag of chips.
