Compass is a go to for coffee, especially the mint cold brew in the summer :)

Amid morning rush hour, they had only 1 worker working, with a line of customers back to the front door. Not good.

I normally enjoy compass coffee but this location seems to have a dark cloud over it. one you can’t have a printed receipt which you are unable to verify pricing. 2 the barista is unpleasant and unwelcoming each time. I thanked her she looked at me with no response. 3 the coffee is no where near good ( same young lady makes it) . This is my 3rd attempt at this location i will not return for coffee services.

A small, busy coffee shop. Good choice of coffee and snacks, fast service. The only drawback is that there's no place to sit.

hii :) longtime lover of compass coffee. i was super excited to try their spring launch drinks and got their iced lavender matcha and went to the compass near my job on 18th st. however the barista that made my matcha did not seem to make my drink right? it does not look as advertised. is this the way the matcha is supposed to be served?

I went to Compass today for my regular espresso shot and the quality was way below what you can expect at Compass. The espresso shot was way too long and watery, even after I asked staff to remake it. Apparently the machine is preprogrammed for a certain espresso “length”. I believe It is time to recalibrate the coffee grinder and service the espresso machine.

I went to another Compass cafe just to see if my first exp at a different cafe was unique (it wasn't, still garbage espresso taste and beige decór).

I am so happy Compass has made its way to AdMo! I love their coffee - especially their seasonal peppermint mocha. While I have always had great service at a Compass, this store's hospitality is truly great! Andrew, especially, is incredible!

I have to share this experience, it is not about coffee. On 11/24 I went inside the Compass Coffee at 849 18th St NW with blood oozing out of finger from a small accident, requested the staff at the front for band aid. The gentlemen was nice enough to do way beyond that by first offering a cup full of ice, then sprayed an antiseptic and got me the band aid that I badly needed. I felt like I walked in to a clinic because of how well I was taken care off. During all of this, I was on a phone call with my child that I couldn't put it down. I felt I may have disrespected this gentlemen for being on the phone while he was trying to help me. I will go back to this store as often as I could! This aside, I love Compass Coffee in general and I used to go the one in Georgetown.

The service is always fast and professional! The staff filled my 3 cans of French pressed coffee and I used my points for a brownie that was excellent! We have been fans of Compass Coffee for many years since they opened their first store. There consistency over the years as they have expanded we have found that no matter the location the quality, service and overall experience is the same.
