The coffee and space if fine, however they are a location that allows dogs inside and quite frankly it is getting ridiculous. As I type this there are literally two dogs barking and fighting at the top of their lungs. I think in a place where people are EATING and DRINKING I should not have to worry about dog hair getting on me, hearing dogs literally fight and bark at one another, and feel uncomfortable as if I, a HUMAN who is paying real money, is the problem. I really need places to get clear about their dog policies because it's becoming such an issue.
*Editing my review to include a dog has now been crying for the past 30 minutes because their owner just has to drink their coffee indoors.

Filthy bathroom. Can’t believe they can pass a health inspection :(. Still like the coffee but worried about how much cleaner the food prep area is than the restroom :(

Blasting Arabic music is disturbing... the custumer service is definitely terrible especially from a few select workers..the quality is consistently bad across all locations.

Compass Coffee on Wisconsin Ave is a neighborhood favorite. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a welcoming vibe make it perfect for work or relaxing. Their Compass Blend is smooth and consistently good. Highly recommend!

I came in and tried on of their seasonal drinks called the papaya matcha lemonade. I also purchased the same drink for my friend at work. It included papaya coconut and lime fruit whip and it was one of the most refreshing drinks that I've had in a long time. The cafe was incredibly busy and there was a line to the door! I like the set-up of the cafe and there are several rooms for people to sit and eat or do whatever they need to on their computer. Because there were so many people, it was quite loud. I didn't stay that long, as I was seriously late for work. It's a nice cafe.

I live in Pittsburgh but visit my daughters in DC very often I have always bragged about Compass Coffee in my neighborhood of Fox Chapel, especially at my favorite coffee shop there. But I was very disappointed with the young lady who took my order at the Georgetown establishment on Monday, May 19 around 9:40. I had an online $5.00 off for my birthday and had some questions about it. I am 65 and not very good with online deals. She treated me like it was a disposition for her to explain it to me. I ended up not using my coupon but paid with a credit card and mentioned to the young lady that some older people weren’t raised with computers and she might consider being a kinder person. I am hoping she never serves me again.

Will not be going back. I went in to Compass this morning and purchased an egg sandwich and coffee. I gave the male clerk, already put off that his texting was interrupted by my being there to place an order, a $20 dollar bill to cover my order which totaled $11.59. Clearly put off by my paying cash, the clerk gave me back $8.00 and without apology told me he didn't have the ($.41) change so he would not be paying me the money I was due after the transaction. When I suggested that perhaps the store should absorb the $.59 if he couldn't make the correct change and he should give me an additional dollar back, he just smiled and didn't seem willing or able to do the math. Who trains these people. Never again. Maman is two doors down.

Requested the lady taking the order to change it when I realized there was a confusion about the order. I was rudely and sarcastically told that any drink can be made any flavor so it should be specific.
Received the wrong drink anyway. Got a strange reply when asked for app based payment. In my experience Compass Coffee staff has been so kind and patient at every other outlet so it was a bit surprising.
