Our band played in DC and we were put up nearby. Came to this bar just to check it out and ended up coming back 4 nights in a row after shows and sight seeing. The drinks and food are amazing (please get the beef noodles, they're obviously hand pulled and expertly made).
If we had a place like this in Albuquerque, I'd go broke.

Really love this spot. Have been here a couple of nights for girls night and they don’t disappoint. Their mapo tofu (veg version) and Dan Dan noodles are delicious, their wontons are spectacular, and the salt n peppa eggplant is to die for - crispy, tender, salty, numbing, spicy, and light all at the same time. What set them apart for me last time was that I was craving a particular type of cocktail and the bar tender read my mind. One of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long while (and their Caipirinhas are pretty amazing too!) This is a great date night/friends night out!
Vegetarian options: Mapo tofu and eggplant! Delicious!

Came here on a whim. Totally worth it fighting for a seat. Hot tip- head downstairs for the heated patio so your server can be Jonathan. He is the absolute best. Great drinks, great food, great service and some regulars even came to grab us to alert they were leaving if we wanted a larger table. I’ll be coming back time and time again

This tiki bar is such a fun spot! The outdoor cocktail patio is absolutely adorable, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for enjoying creative tropical drinks. The inside has a lively atmosphere, though it can get pretty loud, so the patio is a nice escape if you prefer a more chill setting. I used to love this place. However, after my experience tonight it’s clear the owners/ management is out to make maximum profit, not provide the customer with the best experience, even if it means scamming the customer. They made a Instagram post about their 2014 cocktail menu being available all weekend for 2014 prices: $11 per drink. But when my friend and I went Sunday, Nov. 24th we received our bill to find we were charged $18 per drink, a significant difference. We never would have ordered a second drink if we knew their idea of the weekend does not include Sunday. Why not include that in your post? The food here and at Astoria is wonderful. The drinks are great. It’s small, so often hard to find seating unless you’re in there when they open. It’s also not accessible. If you’re a person who has any difficulty with stairs, there’s no way to find out if there’s anywhere for you to even stand, without going up a flight of stairs, and down (and inevitably back up) another to check the patio. I’m hugely disappointed with this establishment. It used to be my favorite near me, despite its inaccessibility; now I don’t know if I’ll be back. I will definitely never be recommending it again.
