Great place to eat traditional Guatemalan food. The waitress was very prompt and provided exceptional service. The food is amazing it was as if I’m eating at a true Guatemalan household - 100% authentic. I’ll be coming again and telling my friends to check it out. You won’t regret coming to this place, it’ll have you wanting to come back for more.

Came here with one friend and one enemy.
Pepian Chicken changed me.

Walked out with no enemies - only friends

I have eaten latin food around the world. It's the best bang for your buck, so I am thankful to find this hidden gem. I ordered a Chile Relleno (stuffed pepper), and it's the best one I have eaten. I would def come back here again if I am nearby and would recommend to everyone

I sat in the bar and had the hilachas guatemaltecas, and it was excellent and included homemade corn tortillas. The hilachas stew was a bit more potato heavy than I expected but that did not detract from the experience. It was also my first time having it, so it was a learning experience for me.

The service at the bar was excellent. I overheard people saying that the server was the cutest! She was incredibly nice and definitely makes you feel welcomed and seems excited that you’re there as a customer. It’s refreshing to receive such nice treatment.

The west facing windows bring afternoon light, and it has a cute ambience that would be great for a small group, a couple, or even just one person to grab lunch or dinner.

The “booth” side seating has a cushion for your bottom, but the wall is your back. There are several other tables with all chairs though, and there are two small sidewalk tables outside.

Superb, authentic Guatemalan fare in a cozy atmosphere complete with coffee and a small bar. The food is light, fresh, deeply savory and prepared with care. Best ceviche I’ve had anywhere near DC; I cannot recommend it highly enough. The owner is a genuinely kind woman who treats her customers as guests in her own home. So lucky to have this place in Mt. Pleasant, Corado’s certainly deserves your business!

We visited Corado’s to have some coffee and ended up drinking several margaritas and eating great guatemaltecos and ceviche. Our server was really friendly and talked with us about the food, the local Latin American community and area. This is a place that you can come for breakfast and work quietly from or it can be a delicious meal out. Authentic Guatemalan food that took me right back to my years in Guatemala. A really lovely place.

Authentic Guatemalan taste! The service was exceptionally kind and professional. The server suggested ordering less because the portions are generous, and also recommended starting with the appetizers before deciding on more – I really appreciated that, as he could have easily sold us more. The flavors were natural and amazing, with fresh guacamole and perfectly crispy chips. The tamales and tacos were absolutely delicious! This was the best food experience I've had in the area.
