I don't like to leave bad reviews but Cork needs some improvement. Cork is a nice venue with wine bar and retail downstairs and restaurant upstairs. Menu looked great and food was all very good. We were a party of six and the first diners in the restaurant. Despite being empty, service was surprisingly slow. Not a big deal but noticeable. The major disappointment was the disconnect between cost and portion size. We don't usually think about this and don't think value equals more, but ever main course was noticeable small. I found the six wines in two flights also disappointing. I like a lot of Italians. None of what was served were particularly good. We had steak, burger, meatballs and salmon mains. Are were very good.

We went for dinner at 8,45 pm after booking on line. The first waiter told us that they could not serve food because the kitchen closes at 9… a second one welcomed us to sit because the kitchen closes at 9. Eventually they agreed that we should go, because the ‘chef’ had said that the kitchen was closed (at 8,50). Awful management and reservation system to say the least, can’t say much about their food.

Add an event in DC and stop by with my friend. We ate a drink a lot and everything was delightful!

We had a wonderful time during a reserve wine tasting experience. Our ‘guide' for the tasting (Kareem) was so very knowledgeable about the wines and regions they came from and made it all so interesting and approachable. He made the day for sure! Our food was delicious, the wines were fantastic, and the service was top notch! Highly recommend!

Beautiful experience. They made my cousin bachelorette so fun!! And gave us a private area upstairs with no reservations. Very accommodating

Wine good but disaster expérience, patio full of rats and try to give us the wrong bill (way more that what we ask)

First time visitor to this location. The outdoor area needs some attention, it looks nothing like the social media posts. Tables were dirty and situated outside of their gate near the sidewalk and street--but the issue was their proximity to the trash and recycling bins which made the ambience less than pleasant due to the rats and the trash smell. Only really came for the froze and was told that "it hadn't been made that day" and they didn't have it. The wine suggested by my waiter wasn't that great, so we sent it back and he removed it from the bill. Service was ok. Opted to pay the bill after 10 min and continue the evening down the street at Barcelona. Won't return to Cork.

We were disappointed. It was very hot, our waiter (who was great) told us he asked management to tun on the AC which they did about half way through our meal. The noise was so loud we could not hear our waiter talk, and could barely hear each other. There weren't that many people in the restaurant, I can't imagine what it would be like if it was full!

Kareem is incredible. Always makes spot on recommendations with wine and food. One of my fav places!

A fantastic dinner. Wine selection is great, and the quality of the food is worth twice what they're charging -- everything we had was spectacular, and the service was attentive and kind. Absolutely, without a doubt, worth a visit.

Sat downstairs in a small seating area near the bar. It was quiet with a nice ambience - great for having a quiet conversation with friends. The food was very nice and the wait staff attentive.
