I hadn't been to Cosi since the pandemic when I was in the office so I ordered delivery. Ordered my favorites: thectuna melt and lentil soup. Both delicious and everything packed perfectly!

Ask for Buffalo Blue on Mutligrain Bread with Chips and Drink.First Gave me on white bread with only chips.Then gave me cold sub without the Ranch still no drink.Not going again.

Using to be the most awesome lunch spot, but has fallen on hard times, I think
Long time customer of Cosi (10+ years). Stopped in to the 17th street location and happy to see Jacob is the manager there. Tried the new Falafel sandwich and it was great. Location is excellent for downtown people and tourists alike. Smaller location but clean. Staff very friendly. Cosi has always had great salads also. I miss the old 10th and E location but happy to see the DC pictures that line the walls of the 17th st location.

Place looks good to me! Only had it twice, but this spicey melt that's on the photo on the window slaps! It's also quickly prepared which is nice cause my lunch break is short

I ordered the hummus sandwich on their multigrain bread and it was the best sandwich! The sandwich has a thick layer of hummus topped with onions, tomato, and cucumber. The proportion of hummus to vegetables to bread was ideal. What makes the sandwich a stand out is the addition of fresh basil--enough to have some in every bite.

Cosi's food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Their location downtown is fantastic. But the real reason this place is a gem is their exceptional staff. They treat their customers like family, and are patient, kind, and always smiling. They are great at their jobs. The staff works quickly and does customized orders and whatever else they can to give the customer a positive experience. I enjoy chatting with the staff whenever I'm there. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Flavorful, hot breakfast sandwiches on fresh bagels! There is a wide section of gourmet salads to pick up and take to the office for lunch, too. Jacob Kuriakose manages a well-run location right off Farragut Square near the White House. Great way to start the day!
They're running this place like they know it's going to die soon.So, Cosi has been on a long slow decline even before the pandemıc, but now with hybrid work they've lost all but one in DC and frankly they're not even trying anymore.To start, they leave all their boxes and stock and paperwork all over the dining area, not even bothering to keep this in the appropriate areas out of sight of the customers. The whole premises is basically an office/store room. They also don't bake the bread fresh anymore, and the bread oven at this location sits lonely and unused.There are very few customers and it will close soon too like all the others, it's just sad because I used to be a fan of Cosi and wish it had been more popular.Get your last sandwich from them while they still exist, it won't be for long...
I love the food at cosi and miss having it closer to where I live but when I'm in the city it is a place I cannot pass up. Great for lunch offering a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads.The hummus sandwich with basil is absolutely amazing. And so is their Mediterranean lentil soup. The best thing at cosi is their flatbread. Even when I order a sandwich I ask for the bread as my side. The store itself has no space for dining in and it seems to only be an order online/in the app and as long as the app is working I would make sure to go if only to try the bread.
