Purchased 6 crabs, the crabs were old and very small. The baby sized piece of corn and half potato tasted ok but the food definitely wasn't fresh. The price was outrageous for the tiny crabs, piece of corn and half potato.

I love to support black owned establishments but I see why they have to automatically charge 20% because none of their staff are personable whatsoever. If that wasn’t a policy servers and bartenders would walk out with pennys each night. Everyone who works there looks miserable.

My 1st time here, and I made reservations so I was super excited and ready to eat some seafood. However that's not what took place the experience was one that I won't forget. Walking up the steps to upstairs gave me oh my these steps are real dirty, walking through the door it smelled not so clean, had to go to the restroom soon after stepping through the doorway I went into the restroom and my thoughts to myself was " WOW he should've stayed on the truck" the bathroom was trifling. Walking over to the table before the restroom stop my girlfriend had to ask for it to be wiped off it was foot prints in the steat and the place opened up at 5p our reservations was at 7 we arrived at 6:30. Coming back from the restroom my girl and I had the same thing in mind, we decided to go eat somewhere else. Coming out spending your money some ppl have certain expectations and crab boss on Hst was not it period, I would never go here EVER again!!!! We ended up at Focus and the food and drinks was good!

Crab Boss is a solid NO for me. This place is extremely unorganized, and unsanitary to say the very least. The establishment doesn’t not have a clear seating chart and servers don’t have assigned tables that clear the minute you walk in. ordering. The rooftop is really nice but it takes 5 flights of stairs to get there. The bar on the rooftop was extremely dirty, with Covid and MonkeyPox being so prevalent you would think the bartender would sanitize regularly, she didn’t. In fact there were puddles of alcohol, lemon slices, and orange peels laying on the bar. She continued to serve other guest, just disgusting. The menus were not laminated so we know those aren’t being sanitized, and just a matter of time before employees and patrons will get sick. The floor on the rooftop was covered with napkins and trash, but the employees didn’t even consider picking anything up! It’s comparable to a trap house! I can’t rate the food because of course I didn’t eat there, I settled for a drink. The most disappointing part is that the owner and his wife WAS THERE! I am not sure if they are uncomfortable speaking up or delegating responsibilities, because most of the employees crowded the kitchen and the ones on the floor didn’t clean, organize, sanitize, or even provide regular water refills!! The prices are insane for such poor hospitality!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. On their website says they close at 10 and we arrived at 9 and were not seated. We decided to go to The Boiling Crab which closed at 10 as well and were treated with great services and great food !

Went on a Tuesday to check out their tacos Tuesday and the menu was limited . The margarita tasted like nothing but sour mix and I had the hot honey wings and they brought out hot mustard I didn’t have a good experience the food is over priced and the vibes were not giving

My experience was horrible. 1. no one greeted us at the front or told us where to sit until we asked. 2. We waited over an hour for our food (crab cakes w/steamed broccoli and crab legs) to come out. When the food finally did come, it took an additional 5 minutes to get utensils to eat with. The server brought plastic forks but nothing that I could use to crack open my crab legs. When I asked for these, she brought gloves. I was unable to eat my crab legs because I couldn’t crack them (I have eaten here before and I got the utensils with no issue). To make matters worse, I ordered a bucket of spiked lemonade in the beginning of the meal which never came. Service was extremely slow overall, even though the restaurant was not busy.
