The vegan banana loaf is so delicious. Also, the woman at the register is extremely kind and welcoming.
The place is a great vibe and Femi, the barista, was amazing. Try out the brown butter latte!!!

Guys like lowkey like im being so fr this is probably the best coffee shop ive ever been to. The iced coffee was so good and they accidentally made an extra so they gave me a free coffee and it was orgasmic. They also had little kids drawings on the walls, so cute.

10/10 place. Their pastries are so good and the snickerdoodle latte tastes just like snikerdoodle. The staff is also so sweet. We tried some cherry and apple pastry and ate that uppppp. So good. This realized the inner cuisine demon in my friend klara.

Phenomenal neighborhood café and bookstore to think, read, and write a little bit too. The music was just right and the space was full of light. Muy recomendable!

This is a true neighborhood coffee shop. The staff is kind and welcoming. The rotating art on the walls is done by local artists, and often students and children. There’s indoor and outdoor seating you’re actually welcome to hang out in and work from home, with a long table conducive to community organizing.

We were here for a 6th birthday party and were very impressed — great decorations and art activities downstairs in an air conditioned area for the kids, and a nice space for parents to hang up upstairs. Asmara and her son were superb party hosts in running the art activities, with a thoughtful theme and attention to every child by name, and the kids left with great goodie bags of their own work as a result!

We just hosted a child's party in the downstairs party room, and I seriously can't say enough good things! All of the parents in attendance were truly delighted to be able to hang out upstairs and sip coffee while the kids made their masterpieces (and Asmara and her staff are so joyful about the art-making!). They truly took care of everything - we just showed up with cake and ourselves.
HIGHLY recommend!

do yourself a favor and go here! the coffee is amazing and Asmara is more amazing. my boyfriend and i visited from rhode island and came here each morning on our trip for iced coffees. the vibes are simply immaculate! drink local!
Creative Grounds recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday “art party” and it was absolutely perfect. Given the heat, it was nice to have an option for an indoor party that wasn’t at a crazy indoor play space. The owner Asmara was such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive, flexible, and so wonderful with the kids. She handled the party decor, set up, and led the kids in art activities and games while the parents got to relax and enjoy delicious coffee and pastries. Overall 10/10 experience or as my daughter said “the best birthday party EVER!”
