I always order from here. But tonight they COMPLETELY MESSED UP. Ordered via doordash and only got 2 things out of a family order. Then their phone number doesn't work at all. They just missed the mark all the way around.

Absolutely ridiculous. I came to the H Street NE location expecting to redeem the $19.99 chicken special that’s clearly still being advertised on their app — only to be told they don’t honor it at this location. The staff said I’d have to drive all the way to Baltimore or Hyattsville to get the same deal.
Why even advertise a special on the app if it’s selectively honored? This is misleading, shady, and unfair. They’ve sneakily removed the specials at the H Street spot but are still promoting them to get people in the door. It’s giving discrimination and deceptive business practices.
Y’all just lost a loyal customer. Do better.

Bruh, this place irritates me. Customer service, where? The chicken is good when you just want some straight up homestyle greasy fried chicken. BUT, they always mess my order up!!!!! Like fr, the last 5 times I've been here, I ask for thighs and always end up with a breast!! Can ya'll please learn to tell the difference between a breast and a thigh. Also, why am I always waiting forever for chicken that's sitting under the heat lamp? The staff here is kind of incompetent. All of em. And if you come on the weekend be warned that it's def some covid up in there. Also they never close at the time posted, usually its 30 mins to a hr before depending on how busy they aren't. I miss the other people that ran this place, come back :( I'll give it 3 stars because it's a DC lil late night spot, so the bar is pretty low. There's a nice amount of items on the menu, parking isn't too bad and the homeless people usually hold the door for you.

Two women may concern I order on 1-14-26 two pieces fish Potato salad greens Mac and cheese my was so dry and hard I could not eat I call to have it replaced but the phone said hold call 6 time.i cannot walk good that why I order my food I expect to get food That I can eat so I try calling them today no answer because I would like to have my food replaced no answer again please I would like to have my food replaced or my money back
