I have never been to this location. Some coworkers of mine stopped by and bought the Waffle and Chicken Fingers Combo. The Chicken fingers were good. The Waffle was flattened due to the chicken fingers, but tasty. I can’t wait to taste the wings.

People said that this is "the unofficial king of DC street food" and they delivered. Loved the chicken, a true representative of Southern fried chicken. The mac and cheese side was surprisingly good as well.

I didn't visit, I ordered through Uber. Should have known something was wrong, because the order was on its way in 10 minutes. Mind you this is 3:10 in the morning. I ordered and paid for a breast a thigh and a wing, and a biscuit. What I got was two wings, a thigh and a leg period oh yeah add a small brick disguised as a biscuit.

H & Chicken absolutely delivered on every level — food, ambiance, and customer service were all a solid 10 out of 10. If you're in the area and craving some quality late-night eats, this place should be at the top of your list.
I ordered the four wings fried hard with two waffles and a side of mac & cheese, and let me tell you — everything complemented each other perfectly. The wings were crispy and full of flavor, the waffles were fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness, and the mac & cheese was creamy and comforting. The presentation was on point, and you could tell care went into every detail.
I also tried the half-and-half sweet tea, and I was honestly shocked at how good it was. I wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being one of the best sweet teas I’ve had in a long time.
From start to finish, the experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back — and if you’re nearby, do yourself a favor and check this place out!
