Bruh, this place irritates me. Customer service, where? The chicken is good when you just want some straight up homestyle greasy fried chicken. BUT, they always mess my order up!!!!! Like fr, the last 5 times I've been here, I ask for thighs and always end up with a breast!! Can ya'll please learn to tell the difference between a breast and a thigh. Also, why am I always waiting forever for chicken that's sitting under the heat lamp? The staff here is kind of incompetent....

This was an absolute meal! The chicken was awesome, the fixings really good...not one complaint! Was able to eat for 2 days off of a 4 peice dinner and mac n cheese. đź‘Ť Just be careful if you check out the H St location.

Ate at H & Chicken at a recommendation of a friend who said it was a must try while in DC. The chicken wings were fantastic and the waffle could hold its own. The mambo sauce was great and so legendary that a guy came back in the store asking if he could have my extra sauce containers. Place was steadily busy and many doordash drivers were in and out. Not many seats inside but does have a high bar area.
