Delicious food with an amazing ambiance. We felt like we were dining on a Cuban street. Pineapple mojito was on point. So glad we found this place.
The service is terrible. Hostess was rude and unprofessional in her interactions. We have been to Cuba Libre in Philadelphia and this location needs to work on the professionalism of their host staff.
Went for cocktails - Amazing. The hostess wasn't happy that we were not having the main course. Cocktails were good and appetite was fantastic. We felt we should be able to choose whether we want to have appetisers or the main course or both. Annoying attitude from the hostess just because we were not having the main course was disappointing.
The Cuba Libre is a nice social establishment but the food could be better the price point. It is a nice spot for small boys or girls night out not so much for couples date night.
What a great place!! Food: delicious 💯 Place: beautiful💘 Drinks: excelent 💯 Services: Fast and Friendly 🧑🍳 Yes, I recommend Cuba Libre Rest. DC
Fairly mediocre drinks and honestly disappointing food. We were seated in a back room in the corner, and proceeded to wait probably 20 minutes before someone came around to ask about drinks. The second room, “La Galleria” was a totally dead room that felt like we had been tucked away somewhere and forgotten. The servers were great but overbooked, and the food we got (Masitas de puerto Fritas) was totally fatty. Overall, good servers (but not great service) and mediocre & overpriced food and drinks.
I recently visited Cuba libre, and while the food didn't meet expectations, the after-party was a highlight. After 10:30PM, on Friday and Sat. the venue transforms into a lively club atmosphere, offering a fun and energetic environment to conclude the evening. If you're planning to dine there, be prepared for a less-than-stellar meal. However, if you're looking for a vibrant nightlife experience, the post-dining transformation into a club is worth considering.
I try to eat at Cuba Libre every time I come to D.C. It's a great experience from the moment you walk in the door. I feel like I've been transported to the streets Havana whenever I'm at Cuba Libre, from the decor to the people, to the food. I can't say enough good things about the food. You just have to try it.
We had an amazing waitress with Lily. She made the entire meal and experience special for our whole family
Excellent service and delicious food. We enjoyed the music and the environment. We will definitely be back.

Food was not as good as I remember from last time . Pork was dry and my Picadillo was seasoned with more salt than I cared for . However the Croquettes were very good. The service was very good any will probably give it another try .
My wife and I were walking past before they were open and smelled how delicious their food was and had to come back! The service was amazing and our food came out very fast. My wife is Puerto Rican and felt soo happy eating the food! PLEASE COME TO COLUMBIA, MD!!

Splendid food, excellent service. The atmosphere inside was a bit kitschy while outside on the pavement, near the traffic but not too noisy.
