This is probably the best pasta I’ve had in DC. I’ve been here twice for dinner now, and the pastas were all great. We got a few smaller portions - the alla norma, taglioni, rigatoni, and agnolotti - all were good. We also tried the sfincione [we are both Sicilian], which was OK but not really a sfincione. Good wine selection and great espresso martinis too. Will return.

Sublime. The food is only marched by the superb service. Ask for the sommelier to pair wine with what you order. He never fails to pick the perfect glass/bottle.

Exceptional in every way!

Between the two of us we tried nearly half the menu and not one bite disappointed. Sitting at the bar is delightful ~ the bartenders are top notch and extremely informed about both the food and drinks. We wanted an after-dinner digestif and we were taken through the full selection with tastes of a few until we found the perfect option for each of us.

What a gem of a business. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was great and service was top-notch. The atmosphere was a little too crowded and a bit dark. Highly recommend ordering the Primi plates and order several meals to share. Frutti Di Mare, Taglioni Neri, and Zuppa De Pesce are well worth the money.

The Monday night $10 pastas is budget friendly and delicious! We ordered all of them. My favorite was the squid ink taglioni with seafood.

Just ate here. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Out sister was great. Missed and my friend both were found to order salads and he suggested that we start with one salad as it was large enough for 2 people. I enjoyed my pasta and based on the waiter’s recommendation got the olive oil cake to go. Great experience so much so that I will be going back again.

Came to celebrate one of my PIC's birthday. She loves French martinis, so why not start the evening somewhere that has all day martini HH. We arrived and found the HH is only at the lounge, which is small and crowded and they didn't have the ingredients to make a French martini. Though a little deflated, birthday girl was able to find one on the menu that she enjoyed. After a round of martinis we went to get seated at our table. The gentleman who greeted us at our table asked if we were celebrated as i had put that in the reservation and when we pointed to my girlfriend, he presented her with a card wishing her a happy birthday and thanks for celebrating with Cucina Morini.

We started with the Tonno and focaccia. For entrees, the birthday girl and I both ordered the Agnolotti and our other PIC ordered the Rigatoni. We all ordered the small size and everyone was pleased with their meal. For dessert the birthday girl ordered the creme brulee. She said it was like a take on tiramisu. That was the only downside, outside of the initial greeting there was no other acknowledgement of the birthday celebration.

A fun and popular city spot with great food and good service. It's loud but that's a reflection of happy dinners enjoying themselves. The Calamari appetizer was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The house made lamb 🐑 ragu was the best I've ever had! Topping it off, the chocolate espresso creme brulee and torta caprese desserts were perfect! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience and must if you are in DC! The staff are incredile - friendly, attentive and really add to the experience. The food is incredible - so inventive, tasty and love how we got to try smaller plates to enjoy more dishes for our group. Fantastic for families, date night or just great fun with friends / work colleagues!

We ordered take-out for Cucina MORINI. Over-all the food was pretty good. We had the seafood pasta, chicken (spicy so I really couldn’t eat it because of allergies to spicy food but my family liked it) and also some calamari.

Calimari was REALLY good. The seafood pasta was also very good but I think the pasta itself could have been a little more al dente. Other than that we liked the food.

Would we order it again ? Yes ! We might want to eat it in the restaurant next time

Came here randomly after the Building Museum for their lighter Brunch menu. All things we had were good, but the Ricotta Pancake was a highlight! Absolutely delicious. Would come back for that. Want to try the Sicilian Caponata toast. Husband really liked the Pomodoro sandwich and I liked the Romana salad.

Food was served quickly and the pasta was amazing. Atmosphere is great to have conversation and the servers were very friendly. The truffle ravoli was amazing, be warned that they serve two sizes of pasta dishes and I have to recommend the larger size! + house made bread was delicious.
