I live Cut. Have been to the one in DC a few times and the one in Beverly Hills many times. I think it's the best steak in DC. The restaurant is beautiful. The staff is lovely.
This was a very special occasion for me and it was literally ruined by the bad service. Although, after requesting better service, it somehow improved, we spent the entire evening begging for a server to look at us. An expensive bottle of wine was half served because the sommelier didn't come back. The food was beyond this world but the service was such a disappointment. There was another table even where the lady had to stood up to get someone's attention.
Great food. Loved the cut hot sauce in a medicine dropper they served with the oysters. Nice touch. Steaks made great: we ordered soufflé and they forgot to present it. Still delicious but we had to serve ourselves. Last touch which failed was they took my leftovers and gave me a token to collect the food in the front like a a coat check but they ended up giving my food to another guest. No leftovers for me and just the hostess saying sorry. If they left the food on the table...
