Dacha Beer Garden (Navy Yard)

Not really sure how do I feel about this place. The location is nice and the outside beer garden is spacious with the nice river view. The airstream trailer brings some interesting vibe, however, I couldn’t feel the atmosphere of the beer garden. The beer selection is good, lovely glasses. Not sure about the food. It could be a good idea to have some outdoors event for your colleagues or friends. Also, the personnel looked indifferent.

Please avoid this place like the plague I mean it,the stuff that I saw in the kitchen was insane !! I don’t know how they are passing the health regulations. I’m pretty sure the owners gonna delete this review immediately since they are well known frauds but please avoid it.

Website has a kids menu. Get down here and no kids menu. Understand it’s a beer garden, and children are not the main demographic, but still.

Service wasn’t the best, considering how busy they were/weren’t.

My husband and I hosted one of our pre-wedding events here in early May as a place for our guests to casually hang out, however, we were disappointed in how the event turned out. We secured this venue on August 25, 2023, and had our walkthrough with Lizzy Kruegar on March 1, 2024, where we were told about the space we would have, and that there would not be any other parties in the space when ours was happening. Additionally, the management team finalized a limited drinks menu for our guests to keep our costs consistent and predictable.

On the day of the event, another party was using the space that our group was promised. This put our larger group towards the entrance which effectively split our party into two smaller spaces that were way too small for our guest count. To make matters worse, this other group also hired a band to play during the time we had allocated to have our guests give speeches. Nobody could hear the speeches and this ruined our event. They also allowed our guests to order from the full drink menu causing us to reach our maximum amount on our bar tab much earlier than we expected.

We have given Dacha every opportunity to respond to our disappointment before writing this review. We have emailed Dacha on May 28th, June 10th, June 26th, and July 16th and finally heard back from Rusthine Mendoza saying that my email will be shared with the appropriate person in management. I emailed again on July 31st, August 6th, and August 7th and still have not heard back from anyone in management.

I would highly recommend not hosting your event in this space, they will over-promise you and underdeliver and then not take any responsibility even after you've spent thousands of dollars with them.

I had drinks and food at Dacha and was pleasantly surprised. The wings were good and not dry and the hot dog was good as well. I had low expectations for the food but everything I tried was good! I would definitely return!

I’m cracking up the response because you actually bullied my friend who unknowingly walked with a wine glass to what she thought was a patio…then experienced one of your staff (a man) forcibly pushing her and grabbing her. Sounds on brand for this business to blame women for standing up for themselves. Hate to know what happens when someone is not watching…I’m sure more terrible things have happened under your watch since you are clearly anti #METOO.

Good beer, good burger, and good sliders (great taste and size). Loved the outdoor but shaded atmosphere in the summer, but can get super hot and humid since if not seated by fan (at least where we were seated). Would come back to try some other items on the menu.
