A good place to try Ethiopian food. They have quite a few vegetarian options.
This place and the food are amazing!! We all shared the sambusas, the lamb tibs, and the beef and chicken sampler
Had a great experience here. They were able to seat us without a reservation fairly promptly despite it being a busy Friday evening. Food was delicious and flavorful and felt authentic, and lots of variety present. Good vegetarian options as well. Staff was kind and attentive.
Delicious food, gluten free injera, and very kind and thoughtful staff!
Favorite restaurant in Georgetown. Came here to celebrate one nephew acceptance to GU Great Food and atmosphere. Great service. Whole family enjoyed
It did not live up to the hype, while the food is good, it's not exceptional and the portions are small. I would skip and perhaps try some of the other well known family style Ethiopian restaurants
The was was average. I had the lamb tibs and the meat was hard. They used the same condiment for all the dishes we ordered. My dish was way too oily. Out table was on the second floor and there was a bad smell in the room. The hole experience was a disappointment...
This was a wonderful experience! Delicious Ethiopian food in a lovely setting. Highly recommend!
Got there 15 min late due to a Google Maps fail. They took us in right away and graciously. We got two veggie sampler platters. Food was amazing. We both commented after we finished that we could do it all over again. And my friend barely eats in the first place.
We last ate here in 2014 on our first ever trip to DC. We were a bit concerned that it would no longer be here after Covid or had changed in character, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that it hadn't changed a bit. Great food and very friendly and helpful staff. If you've not eaten Ethiopian cuisine before then just take their recommendations. There was no oversell and the food was amazing.

Wonderful experience ! The beef was a little tough however the lamb and vegetarian dishes were perfect A must visit !
Food was average for Ethiopian, the portion sizes were quite small for what we paid for though filling. The service when we came on a Saturday at 2/3 pm was extremely slow however. Understandably they were understaffed but for what we paid, I wouldn’t come back.

Had an amazing experience at Das! The meal was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Meza and Samira made us feel so welcome and took great care of us throughout our visit. The warm, inviting atmosphere combined with their attentive service made the evening special.

I have experience Ethiopian cuisine many times. It so happens to be my favorite food. When I saw the reviews for your restaurant i was excited to patronize your establishment. The food did not meet my wife nor myself expectations. The food did not have the levels of flavor that we are use to. The food was very bland and it lack the luster that i am use to. The portions were very small for the price.

Great food. Great wait staff. Tej on the menu. My only quibble was not having everything served on one huge and instead having each order on a separate smaller one, but that's a very minor issue. Italian desserts were a nice bonus. Good coffee. Overall, an excellent dinner.
