Great beer and events !
Been wanting to come here for a couple years, finally made it here only to find out it’s a hole in the wall, neither their pale ale or IPA were on tap, no real merch. The beer is great but sadly, I recommend you skip the taproom experience. They have great marketing and beer - leaving a lot on the table by not opening a proper pub.
Nice brewery and a good time. Only small complaint is the variety on tap. (Specific to July 20, 2024) If you're not an IPA fan, there's not a ton for you ... and if you're not a sour guy, there's even less.
That being said, the Porter was tasty and the Old Time Lager was a big, crushable win. Place has some cool history as the District's first microbrew. Definitely worth a visit.
Every 6 weeks I make a trip to D.C. Brau to pick up an excessive amount of D.C. Brau Seltzers to keep stockpiled in my fridge. Paulette bends over backwards to help me with my orders and being there when I'm my standard 15 minutes late to pick my order up. They are the most awesome!!! Thank you!
What an amazing brewery. I’ve watched them grow from two tanks to over twenty. From being small to being a player in the craft beer industry. Their production speaks to their commitment to quality and innovative tastes to make an outstanding beer.
Nice tap room, easy to get to, off the beaten path so not super busy.
Excellent beer. Get some for yourself!

Great venue, great beer!
Always a good time and great beers
May 2023 - 3 years later, we still almost weekly. Still dog friendly and our new dog can't go there enough. The beer is still good. The folks are still good. They have given the exterior a face lift. They have food on the weekends. Check it out if you haven't!Nov 2020 - Just moved to the area, but this is one of our favorite places...go there 1-2 to times a week! Check it out if you haven't - and a bonus it is dog friendly. If you are willing to wait for it, pick up Roaming Rooster you can make a afternoon/evening of it. You can even play Centipede as you drink for 25 cents!!!
A local DC beer staple. Actually stumbled upon their brick and mortar location while I was trying out a nearby restaurant. The interior is cool and it was neat to try some beers of theirs beyond what I usually see at stores. Staff was friendly and I had a good time.
DC Brau is our new home! We love the atmosphere, the people and the beer is first rate!
