We had a great time here for Dead Days. 4 generations singing and dancing to good vibes and Greatful Dead music
I made balloons for dozens of kids just to spread the joyful experience and good vibes. The beer and service was awesome as well. Thank you DC Brau for a great day👍✌😁

Absolutely the best team to work with for all your brewery needs - professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish!

I got 2 growlers there recently, it was a really good atmosphere. The person behind the bar had an encyclopedic knowledge of the beers and seltzers they were making/selling and the ambiance was a chill, laid back, family friendly atmosphere. I will come back for sure to try the external food options as well. Overall this was a really cool experience and DC should feel lucky to have this quality of a place. The beer and seltzers were really good too

DC Brau Brewing has the largest distribution out of any DC brewery serving their beers in most DC grocery stores, restaurants, and bars. Their brewery is in NE DC in an industrial area (Major points for being next to a DC chocolate factory).

Every night they have some special going on whether it's teacher's night or neighbor's night. Get a flight or a pint and place some of the games they provide like Catch Phrase in their sitting area.

Note: They don't do many darker beers. If you want dark beers, go to 3 Star Brewery near Takoma.

No frills tap room. Plenty of games to play from bar shuffle board to giant connect four. A decent selection of their own brews on tap and a respectable number of cans from other independent breweries from around the country. The Slushy on tap seemed a little suspect and not so slushy, so we skipped it. Nice outdoor space in a parking lot away from the street for when the weather is better. And there was a nice guy trying to sell tacos on a Sunday afternoon to patroons.

Great beer and events !

Been wanting to come here for a couple years, finally made it here only to find out it’s a hole in the wall, neither their pale ale or IPA were on tap, no real merch. The beer is great but sadly, I recommend you skip the taproom experience. They have great marketing and beer - leaving a lot on the table by not opening a proper pub.

Nice brewery and a good time. Only small complaint is the variety on tap. (Specific to July 20, 2024) If you're not an IPA fan, there's not a ton for you ... and if you're not a sour guy, there's even less.

That being said, the Porter was tasty and the Old Time Lager was a big, crushable win. Place has some cool history as the District's first microbrew. Definitely worth a visit.

Every 6 weeks I make a trip to D.C. Brau to pick up an excessive amount of D.C. Brau Seltzers to keep stockpiled in my fridge. Paulette bends over backwards to help me with my orders and being there when I'm my standard 15 minutes late to pick my order up. They are the most awesome!!! Thank you!

What an amazing brewery. I’ve watched them grow from two tanks to over twenty. From being small to being a player in the craft beer industry. Their production speaks to their commitment to quality and innovative tastes to make an outstanding beer.

Nice tap room, easy to get to, off the beaten path so not super busy.
