Wonderful flavor and texture. All ingredients are plant-based. The eggplant and sweet potato filling was delicious and filling. The mixed veggie version (potatoes, cabbage, peppers, cilantro) was very tasty. The dosa dough was perfectly thin and crispy. There are also a variety of sauces, although they are not as hot as advertised. Will be back!
Having grown up in India and eaten a lot of South Indian food, I can honestly say I was a little surprised at how good and fresh the dosas here were. I was expecting a more Westernized version of dosas but everything was as delicious, if not more so than the dosas we get at the traditional Udipis in India. Yes they have some non-traditional fillings but it's a pleasure to try something different than the usual fare. One thing that came through consistently in the 3 times...
Nice place to have gf option at the union market. Celiac safe. The veggie one was lacking on veggies other than cabbage, but still somewhat tasty savory crepe.
