Food has slapped since they opened. Staff always nice, the sandwiches(breakfast and lunch) are impeccable. Highly suggest subbing your bagel for a knish for breakfast sandos.

I paid $10 total and $3.50 for extra bacon on a meat and cheese sandwich. I guess that translates to extra wrapping to make it look bigger because what the hell is this. Every time I try to give this place a chance they do this crap and it’s ridiculous. I’ve gotten more from hole in the walls in New York than I ever have in here AND FOR LESS.

If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, this place is a gem. The bagels are absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly toasted, and loaded with flavor. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the whole experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back the next morning. Highly recommend!

Hard Rock bagel Cafe is my new name for it. And the owner she's rude she talking about I don't know who you are well I was a customer. I'm still an emergency room trying to see about my broken tooth. Other than the treatment from 817 this a.m. it was just an awful office experience. And it's all my fault I should have never ever went in there. I see people in my building. With bags from there. The first one I tried my daughter brought her with $50 worth for our family in the hospital with my other daughter. Not bad try but not bad. I knew when I asked for my refund right then I should have just got it. Don't concede don't . Just go with your first frame of thought. And maybe I wouldn't be in the emergency. And all those orders she was doing in front of my one little bagel catering orders office orders all that kind of thing. Let's see who else gets up chipped tooth

I usually get myself an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. As somebody who lived in Brooklyn, I love my bagels and this place is legit! They also make an amazing espresso martini. Get here before 9 so you can get a seat. This location is located in the food hall.

The bagels were alright but the staff were EXTREMELY rude, we ordered online and when our food was ready we went up to grab our order, however they don't have the names of the orders facing the customers??? So when we went to check the name of the one of two bags on the counter the server SNATCHED the bag out of my hand and literally SHOUTED at me that I couldn't just grab any order. He asked for the name and once we gave it to him he handed the bag back with a snarky look. However because he ripped the bag from my hands a half of one of the bagels was crushed with all the fillings spilled out. Would not ever recommend anyone go to this place as this was the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. They either need to shut down or do a complete staff change. Also one bagel tasted somewhat stale, absolute rip off. Unacceptable

I was at Buffalo & Bergen in union market today Saturday 8/23/25 I order the Ruben on a bagel the cornbeef was very dry and old . Very disappointed never again!!!

Work in the Union Market area and they always burn or forget something that I paid to have added. The service is trash. The employees at the counter are disingenuous and the Manager Bella has a condescending and dismissive tone. Not worth it. Save your time

Poorly executed and overpriced food. Uninterested service at best. You can cut the arrogant attitude with a knife. This place survives due to location alone. Disappointing at best.
