The quality of pizza betrays how cheap and casual this place is! Their signature tomato sauce is fresh and perfectly thickened and flavored with a well maintained tomato aroma, unlike those commercial ones. Topping is generous and fresh and the crust has great crunch and burnt flavor. Easily beats 90% the pizza shops at double the price in Chicago.
I stop by DC Pizza whenever I’m around the area and tbh this spot just hits every time. The food is always fresh, service is fast and the vibe just feels good, idk why lol it just does. And gotta give a little shoutout to JP, this guy is a rockstar fr. Every time I walk in he’s like everywhere at the same time, helping people, checking orders, kinda keeping everything moving without looking all stressed or whatever.
