Food is tasteless and the portions are very small for the price they are charging. Nothing special just bland and overpriced food.
So glad we found this place! Probably my favorite Lebanese food I’ve ever had. The hummus was so good! The Shakshuka was so special! I wish I had tried the one with Merguez. The owner (I assume he is) was super nice! He seemed super happy and thankful that we were there.
The best Shawarma I’ve had in the DMV period(coming from an Arab this means a lot). This tastes authentic, the garlic is out of this world and the bread (shraq bread) they use is amazing, and for the price it’s perfect!!! This place is a hidden gem in DC if your ever in the NW area DO NOT HESITATE!! Also worth noting is Seth, very humble and well mannered, definitely worth the wait.
This place is a hidden gem in DC. I'm really surprised it doesn't get more traffic. The food is fresh, flavorful and comforting. The guy who runs it is just a wonderful and delightful person who is extremely attentive to his customers. Give it a shot. You won't regret it.
The best Shawarma I have had to date. Exceptional service, exceptional food! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
The moment I walked in the aromas was tantalizing ?. Owner, and long-time DC resident, Seth is bringing authentic North African cuisine to Shaw. He took his time to consult the menu with me. Including how much spice I like. The food is FANTASTIC and i can’t wait to go back!Support your local businesses ??❤️
Don't let the hole in the wall appearance fool you, this is easily one of the best and most authentic tasting Lebanese restaurants in the entire DMV area. The prices are good, the owner is super nice, and most importantly the food is absolutely amazing!
Amazing food and really friendly staff! Wonderful flavors, very authentic. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Really tasty, good prices, and excellent service. The falafel was fresh, crunchy, and not too dry or moist, the baba ghannoush was some of the creamiest I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, hopefully when there is still baklawa left
Went with friends not realizing the place had changed. The owner was friendly and gracious. The food was delicious. I had the kafta kebab, husband had the butter chicken and our friend had the chicken kebab.Good seasoning and generous servings. Hubby asked for his to be spicy and the owner brought out a delicious sauce.

This is some of the best Lebanese food I've ever had. I recommend the hummus. The cook takes great pride in what he makes. Thank you for an absolutely outstanding meal. I will be back.Edit: I came back. We got the chicken shawarma and the owner gave us some beef to try as well. We got the makanek as well. Everything was just as good if not better than before. Seriously, come try this food.
This is the best shawarma I have had hands down, in addition to being extra tasty and fresh, the service was amazing. I was having a really bad day, my car overheated but at least I broke down near good food ?I got the chicken shawarma and the buttered shrimp, both amazing
It's been a long time I haven't taste a good full of flavor shawerma like this. ??
The food here was overpriced and didn't taste very good. The tabouli salad had ZERO bulgur, yet it had pomegranate arils. Weird, not what I was expecting. We paid nearly $80 for this meal and a bunch of it was inedible and ended up in the trash.
Love this place. Coming from the Metro Detroit area I've had my fair share of shawarma and this is right up there at the top. Great prices, super friendly staff, and the food is really tasty. Shaw was missing a spot like this!
