Went here because if reviews. Clearly the dryest, toughest brisket on the east coast. So disappointed.

I enjoyed their version of BBQ.

The food is amazing, the service is amazing. You need to have the best BBQ in DC right now. Marcus, the bartender, is everywhere taking care of everyone and it’s impressive to watch. The kitchen never misses with the food. If you like BBQ, come to DC

My nephew and I sat in the patio area. We had wings and collard greens and Mac and cheese... Yum! The sun was out and the food was good. Oh! The brussel sprouts were delicious! And the daiquiri set it off!!

We have been in DC visiting for 6 days and this is by FAR the best food we’ve had! We are also from Texas, so I feel like we know BBQ. DCity Smokehouse is giving Texas a run for its money!

I enjoyed my visit to DCity Smokehouse in Washington FC. While some dishes were over-spiced with jalapeños, the pulled pork sandwich stood out as excellent. The mac and cheese, though not traditional, had a unique twist with jalapeños as did the greens. Would not order that again. The website claims it’s a black-owned business; however, I cannot confirm this. Despite mixed reviews, I would return for the delicious pulled pork sandwich, though my friend was less impressed with the rib tips.

Great spot with some delicious sweet/spicy BBQ. Marcus made me feel at home, provided quality service, and the food was delicious. I visited back to back nights just for the envoirment and love I felt here. The Dcity Daiquiri's are also delicious. ?

While the wait staff was courteous and the bartender called us by name, the food was disappointing. I have never in all my years had sweet collard greens! OMG! Not only were they SWEET, they were also SALTY! So much so, I could not eat them. I felt my blood drying up. I ordered BBQ. beans but they were more of a baked pinto bean. And guess what? They were SWEET and SALTY (less) too! Smoked wings, same thing. I think of the movie, “They Cloned Tyrone”

Smokehouse Melt, cheesy jalapeno grits, and brussel sprouts are my favorite ? everything is good here, especially the frozen drinks.
