DCity Smokehouse Reviews
When I tell you that’s I’ve been looking for some good authentic bbq, I have! And, I’ve been disappointed up until now. I decided to give DCity Smokehouse a try. I got the smoked wings, ribs, and collards. The meats has a nice REAL smoked flavor, seasoned to perfection, and the collards were on point. I look forward to trying more food items from the menu. I highly recommend!
Absolutely out of this world BBQ! Great service, friendly staff! I wish I lived in DC so I could come back on a regular basis!! Get you some!
The following were super yummy:
1. Brisket
2. Rib tips
3. Smoked turkey
4. BBQ sauce
I’m not used to sweet collard greens. They were not bad, just not used to them. I ate them all. May not order again, but doesn’t mean I would comeback not again… maybe to try the other sides.
Pickles had a sweetness to them. Not bad, but don’t look to me given I’ve never been a fan of sweetish pickles regardless of where they come from.

DCity Smokehouse is a cozy spot with engaging staff and delicious food. The pork belly, brisket, and rib tips are top choices, with the brisket being juicy and not disappointing. The fries and fried onion are must-tries. The restaurant has limited seating, mainly bar stools and a few larger tables. Once they get their liquor license, it will be even better. Prices are typical for good quality meat, and parking can be tricky on weekdays. The music is loud, but the food, like the brisket cheese steak, is excellent and filling.
Customers praise the authentic smoked flavor of the meats, which are seasoned to perfection. The collards and sides like the creamy, mildly spicy mac and cheese are also highly recommended. The ambiance is enjoyable, with high table seating and TVs. The staff is friendly and helpful with the menu. While some note that the seating can be uncomfortable, with mismatched stools and no tables during visits, the focus remains on the good food and atmosphere. The restaurant is also known for its eclectic jalapeño grits and tender, moist brisket. Overall, DCity Smokehouse remains a popular destination for satisfying barbecue and other tasty eats.
