DCity Smokehouse

When I tell you that’s I’ve been looking for some good authentic bbq, I have! And, I’ve been disappointed up until now. I decided to give DCity Smokehouse a try. I got the smoked wings, ribs, and collards. The meats has a nice REAL smoked flavor, seasoned to perfection, and the collards were on point. I look forward to trying more food items from the menu. I highly recommend!

I don't eat here very often, but I do enjoy their food. However, tonight's order was not perfect. When I bit into my chicken, I found it was still red in the middle. I didn't want to eat any more of my chicken because I was afraid that all of the pieces would look the same. I can't go back and get a new order because the restaurant is closed, nor can I receive a refund. I hope this does not happen to anyone else..

Wanted a pulled pork bbq sandwich but really had to use the restroom. Young Hispanic girl said I need to order first. Tried to explain I can't hold it can I just use the bathroom first. Fing refused. Ended up having an accident never going back again.

On the up and coming side of town. Armed guard at the door. I enjoyed my BBQ offerings including pulled pork, smoked brisket, mac n jack cheese, potato salad and of course the sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. Would visit again if craving sweet, salty and spicy.

Reason first I got the half smoke it was loaded best I had in years than I turn around and order delivery and it seems like two or more was missing just was right please consistently and I told everyone regarding the half smoke so sad thanks

Nice establishment and great customer service! I wasn’t really a fan of the greens but the beans weren’t bad. I’m from the south so I’m used to my bbq tasting different in which I wasn’t a fan of either. I will give this place another try though!

This location does not disappoint when it comes to food! A must visit when in southeast. Would give it 5 stars, but there's not much seating, and I don't think they offer alcohol.

One of the small handful of restaurants in historic Anacostia with dine in seating. The food was a little too spicy for my taste but very good. Unlike my favorite BBQ spot...Mission BBQ, you had very limited options for sauces. The staff was very friendly and wanted my visit to be noteworthy. A special shout out to Chris, who was manning the counter. He kept me informed on my orders status and was very friendly. I'll definitely be visiting this location again.
