Just had the brisket and my god I'm in heaven . The brisket was so perfect and literally falls off the bone . The service was quick easy and painless . I had no idea what I wanted and the cashier quickly stepped in and help me make up my mind . It's no doubt that I'm coming back; maybe even tomorrow. Oh the ambiance was really clean and had a good vibe .

The halfsmoke brisket chili was the bomb Perfect spice, I ask for the dog to be extra smoked and they did it no problem. Wish it had a little more chili, but the best foods are usually just enough. Definetly recommend! I will be back.

This was the worst bbq I tasted in my life the potato salad was nasty the bbq beans was nasty. For 66 dollars I would’ve expected a better taste!!! I will not be return to try another, and I had the rib tips Mac potato salad nd bbq beans and it was the worst. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

My husband and I ordered food to pick up and take home. My husband went to take a bite out of his ribs. We ordered TWO ORDERS and it waa RAW inside. Called the restaurant and were told there will be no manager in for three days to help with our issue. This is unacceptable. We need to get this resolved sooner than later.

I was in the mood for brisket tried this place and..all I can say is food is amazing food is delicious I had the Brussels sprout.. amazing my first time trying them...tried the collard greens first greens in my life I actually liked. The bbq beans are delicious and the brisket was amazing I got half lean half wet. All sides are vegan except for the chili which has brisket in it worth the trip...good atmosphere plenty of seating inside and outdoor seating is available as well. JC was amazing he walked me through the process of ordering and the food preparation process, you can tell he really truly cares. They offer samples before you purchase..staff is friendly and food is made fresh...I will be going back!!!

A word of advice to fellow visitors: parking can be a challenge, especially during rush hours. We were fortunate to find a spot in the parking lot, but it's something to consider when planning your visit. In terms of value, the total for the Brisket Champ sandwich and two sodas came to $23. Went sometime last week in the middle of a snow storm and yes they were open!!! We ordered pork ribs,brisket smoked wings , beef ribs , Mac n cheese and beans. The ribs were a bit tough for me. I recooked it the next day to my tender liking. Brisket and beef ribs were tender and perfect. My bf liked the smoke wings. Mac n cheese was pretty good, not spicy but had a nice taste and texture. I loved the baked beans ( I don't usually like baked beans) but these were really good. Customer service was A1. The guy behind the counter helped me order. Got our food fast and easy. Def a place I will order from again. No cocktails at the moment but hopefully soon.
I went to the one In Anacostia. Caveat: it's really a take-out with a little seating. Food and service were good, if a little expensive for a take out. The pulled pork was good and ample, as were the "small" sides. Large ones must be supersized? Fried brussel sprouts were good. The collard greens were sweet where I'm used to more vinegar and meat flavor. Fries were average. The sampler easily fed two. Its rib tips were like what they serve in Chinese restaurants. They made me wish I'd tried the ribs. Next time, I'll give the Ivy City restaurant a chance, especially if it has a broader menu.
