About Death & Co. D.C.

Death & Co. D.C. is the DC outpost of the renowned cocktail bar, known for its creative and expertly crafted drinks. The space offers a dark, welcoming atmosphere with speakeasy vibes, featuring an atrium-like area and an inner bar. The cocktails are perfectly balanced, well-thought-out, and beautifully presented. The staff is warm, inviting, and knowledgeable. Although the kitchen closes at 5 PM, the small plates menu offers delicious and elevated food options. Reservations are recommended.

Customers praise the excellent service, innovative cocktail menu, and high-quality drinks. The new spring offerings are described as "simply amazing," and the Lucid Dream Negroni and Mr. Wednesday cocktails are particularly excellent. While the drinks are pricey, customers appreciate the craft and attention to detail that goes into creating them. Visitors also mention that the atmosphere appears like a hole in the wall from the outside, but once inside, the ambiance is amazing. The patio bar, with bartender Alex, provides excellent drinks, including the bartender’s choice, and fingerling potatoes are recommended as a great addition from the outside menu.

While the kitchen closes early, the focus on well-made drinks and the upscale, dark, moody setting make Death & Co. perfect for post-dinner cocktails, a date night, or an intimate gathering. It’s a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates elevated mixology and unforgettable atmosphere.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has an amazing vibe. Then we grabbed an espresso martini at their bar. Holy moly was it great. The attention to detail in making our drinks was remarkable. A tremendous amount of pride and love was put into each drink I saw the staff make. Every thing was perfect with our experience. The...read full review
