Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

Reservations were for 4:30pm. We arrived a little early and we were seated as soon as we checked in with the hostess. We ordered the calamari and Caesar salad to start. The bread for the table was so delicious- better than a lot of other places. I enjoyed the field mignon and, ordered medium rare, and the lobster with truffle butter. The fried rice served with the sea bass was perfectly cooked. We also ordered the cream corn, broccolini, and the start of the show- the lobster Mac and cheese. Ambience, in my opinion, could have been better. I prefer a more dim-lit scene.

Was a little busy when we went. Server was very friendly, I think her name was Catarina? Tried the strawberry martini and it was quite good. I think it was a special drink for February. Had a wedge salad - enjoyed that a lot! For entrees we had the chicken and the sea bass. Both were excellent! We didn't have dessert, but overall we enjoyed everything and we would go back again.

Sad to say the food they serve now does not match the price point. The steak which is what they’re known for surprisingly my spouse and I both had to send our steaks back multiple times for the wrong temperature. The second steak I received had so much silverskin running through it that I couldn’t enjoy it. Also some of the silverware was extremely worn I pricked my finger using a spoon while eating dessert. I actually had to excuse myself to the restroom to rinse my finger because it punctured my skin. The customer service was great and the waitress was very nice but I was not compensated in any way. I have had better steak at Texas Roadhouse while spending a fraction the price. After a $400+ bill I felt ripped off. Not sure if some changes need to be made in the kitchen but this was very disappointing. I dined here about two years ago and everything was perfect. I understand Valentine’s Day is one of the busiest days for them but that’s no excuse.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Del Frisco’s, once the pinnacle of steak excellence, has lost all of its charm and quality. Overpriced, over-cooked steaks. Lobster Mac was dry. Octopus app was the best thing we had, which shouldn’t be the standard for a steakhouse.

Go to somewhere where the chefs are still innovating and creating, not just resting on their laurels of a reputation of an above average steak.

Josh and Isiah the two them together are a deadly Pair. There attention to customer service and ensuring I was okay was amazing.. The made me feel so very special

So I have been coming here for nearly a decade— this location and staff have always been 5 stars for me.

The food, service, and kind welcoming energy keeps me coming back.

Wow what an experience!!! Initially had plans for another restaurant but they were crowded.. we found our way to del Frisco’s bar and Josh was outstanding- attentive, funny, made awesome drinks and professional. Can’t wait to go back!!!

One of our fav spots in DC. We appreciated Ebbonni’s service at the bar tonight. She was attentive. The drinks were amazing… she makes the best Sidecar! And her smile topped it off. We will definitely come back and sit at her bar!

Isiah stands out as a standout leader. Even as a repeat guest, his presence feels special but never overbearing. The staff respond with the same level of polish and attentiveness you’d expect from a flagship DC dining room.
